Living in Tremont the liquor store selection is limited due to the fact that the one that used to be across from the Market closed years ago, leaving me to go to the State Store in the flats or good olé’ Tonys! Its on Clark in a rediculous neighborhood of cucaracha music and check cashing places. If ya have cheap Kmart rims youll fit right in! This store is more of a bodega that has a liquor counter in it. They have anything ya need. Cards not accepted… bring cash yupster. The staff is pretty nice and they have an armed security guard so dont worry Thad, the locals wont touch your souped up Volkswagon or Iphone! They also have limited veggies and dry goods too. Mostly latin inspired stuff. I cant say that the 40 and tallboy selection aint too bad either! If ya need a bottle and a handfull of cilantro in a pinch… hit this place up.
