My boyfriend and I lived in University Lofts for a year. I loved the look of the apartment, and the location was awesome. The woman in the leasing office, Kelsey, was extremely nice and helpful. PROS: — The units and hallways were clean. — The apartment had a washer/dryer in the units and a dishwasher — The apartments looked exactly like they looked in the pictures on the website: beautiful lofts, spacious, exposed brick. — Gated parking(although a little pricey, it cost $ 75/month) CONS: — Everything went really well until we had a college student move next door to us, who would have parties EVERY night, blaring his music. We went to him to ask him to keep the music down, but had no luck. We reported the issue to the office, and they were always very nice and apologetic, and said they would send him notices but nothing happened. — The lock to the door to our back patio broke, and the maintenance person insisted he couldn’t fix it until the proper part arrived, which ended up being MONTHS. We were on the second floor, so it wasn’t like we were extremely worried about a break-in, but in downtown Cleveland a broken lock on a door is unsettling. Realistically, we moved away because of the fact that we wanted to move into a house, but the noise was also a big factor. The apartments are beautiful, and I would recommend them nonetheless. I think we just happened to get incredibly unlucky with our extremely rude neighbor.
