I really wanted to love this place. I stopped in here on my lunch break to browse. I soon realized I wouldn’t be getting much farther than the door, as it was crammed with stuff. The salesman was personable enough, but for all his claims of having many«rare» pieces, they sure weren’t displayed as such. Two shell chairs tossed behind a wall, and furniture stacked upon more furniture. I saw several peeling and rotted wood leaded glass windows. Price? $ 450. Old light fixtures probably obtained from demo’d houses or a Restore were going for $ 350 +. A Heywood bedside stand? $ 475. A MCM lamp? $ 250. A French vanity? $ 1,000. Come on, dude. I’ve been going to antique shops since I was a kid, and these prices are simply ludicrous. Eastside antique stores are notoriously higher than the westside, and this place was no exception. While this shop undoubtedly has many treasures, it was a huge disappointment. The hoarder-like, haphazard presentation of your goods, coupled with ridiculous price points makes this place just yet another overpriced warehouse for a couple of guys unwilling to part with anything. I’ll leave this place for the wealthy folks brave enough(or dumb enough) to sift through the items and overpay.

Hidden gem in Cleveland Heights rediscovered! Definitely worth the trip from wherever you are. Jam packed with furniture, accessories, art, and nostalgia. Just when you think you’ve browsed through it all the owner, Laurence, will say, «Oh, I have another one of those in the basement.» Phone flashlight app came in handy for the trek down to additional inventory. The dresser I bought was hidden under a pile of chairs. Went grocery shopping while Laurence and his crew of movers excavated my hidden treasure. Returned to the store an hour later and they all three cheerfully loaded the dresser into my vehicle. Great experience which I highly recommend :)

I bought a set of barrister bookshelves last year for my new store, Robusto & Briar the owner not only cleaned them but held them until I had enough space for them since we had experienced construction delays and a venue change. I would come back here for more pieces any day. They are wonderful, fun, and knowledgeable.

Though the employees are very helpful and willing to show you anything, if you can get to it, the owner likes to feed you with«oh that is really rare» and«I can’t even find that piece for under $ 1,500.» When you know for a fact it was purchased on craigslist for $ 150. The prices are ridiculous and the place is filled with so much stuff you can barely get through to look at anything. Really disappointing.

This is the sister store to Artisan Antiques and Jewelry. It’s pretty much the same as far as I can tell. They just spill into each other(almost literally) and both have quite the selection of items that could keep you there all day. Read:
