The West Park YMCA is a wonderful place to fine-​tune your fitness. This facility is not overcrowded, overpriced, or pretentious. The Wellness Center has plenty of machines. Granted, some of them are worn and show their age, but still safe and completely functional. I have never had to wait to use a treadmill or an elliptical. One great asset to this facility is the four lane (what I assume is) Olympic-​sized indoor swimming pool. The schedule accommodates adult lap three times a day, and always has a lifeguard on duty.
Additionally, the memberships are affordable and include classes (save for a few) in the price. When you walk in, you are always greeted by a friendly staff member, and are always willing to answer your fitness questions.
