This Rite Aid location is just okay. I have never had an problems with regular purchases that do not involve medications, that’s the reason for the 3 stars. The pharmacy, however, is another story. At times the wait at the pharmacy is VERY long, even when you are picking up a prescription that has been phoned in. I don’t understand this because if I doctor calls in an antibiotic a sick person is coming in to pick it up. This location is close to my home which is why I continue to use it.

I dread coming to this Rite-Aid. I live in cliffside park but I’d rather drive across town to walgreens in fort lee.

The older employees or managers are terrible. I dread going in this store but am happy to deal with the younger employees. They are cool and act cool.

This Rite Aid has gotten too big and too expensive since it moved. They have a staff turn around almost every day, and the pharmacy used to know what it was doing until Natalie and Jackie left. They were the best. One of the managers there, Mary, is so unpleasant, and just downright nasty. She is ugly inside and out, and they need to fire her. There are days I won’t go in there just because of her.

So to say that an hour passed but they still didn’t open up upsets me. I’ve liked this place for short stops along the way, but not being opened when I need them is horrible. To the point that there is two other people waiting for the store to be opened when it isn’t at this time. I am very upset about this. Just letting you know… You missed 5 customers. People should not be waiting for a store to be opened…

I gotta love this Rite Aid, since it is literally around the corner from my house. There are plenty of other great things about it, though. Upsides: * Convenience. Is it close * The staff, for the most part, is very friendly and personable. * If you shop here frequently, you can earn a 20% discount. This is a huge upside. I purchase everything I can at Rite Aid, since I have earned the discount. The price savings certainly won my business. * The staff is helpful and will help you find items and, if you have a particular need for something, they’ll even set it aside for you if you phone ahead. Downside: * The pharmacy will FREQUENTLY not have all the pills required to fill a prescription. On the upside, they are usually able to give to fill the remainder of the prescription the next day. That’s not a problem, if you live über-close, like me. If you have to make a special trip, however, or need to deal with parking, this cold be SUPER-annoying. * Later in the evening, there is frequently no one at the counter, so you may have to wait a few minutes for someone to make it back to the counter. If you have had a super-long day at work, this can be annoying. * Some of the older employees seem to think no one has ever used a debit card machine and feel the need to walk you through every step of the process. This can be annoying when you just want to swipe and go. * The selection is not as vast as CVS or Walgreens. That said, the place is huge compared to their old location down the block. If you want to save some money and can shop here regularly, this is the place to go!
