This is the first time we had tried this place and were very pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tasty all of the dishes we tried were. It was so good, we actually went back again a couple of days later. It’s an unassuming place but their food is well better than most others, plus the prices are very reasonable too. If she is there, I suggest asking the waitress Sara, who was very helpful, for her recommendations because she steered us to some really wonderful items, like the appetizers eggplant with yogurt sauce, the ezme, and shepherds salad. For main entrees, the«beyti sarma» and lamb sish kebab were two we tried and really enjoyed.

I recently returned from a trip to Istanbul and I was happy to find a restaurant in my area that has pide(most Turkish places here don’t offer it). I ordered the shepherd’s salad, a mini lahmacun, and the kimali pide. The salad was very fresh, tasted good, but I was surprised that it was not seasoned with sumac and/or red pepper. Fortunately, I have these spices at home. The salad seemed more like a Greek salad without the feta cheese. The lahmacun was as described on the menu, but seemed a bit bland and was not served with parsley. As for the pide, the meat was very well seasoned, but it was a bit dry. It definitely needed more tomatoes. I was also surprised that it was not an «open faced» pide but a «stuffed» version. I was most disappointed by the pide dough. Instead of being light and fluffy, it was more like chewy, American pizza dough. Also, my order took over an hour to be delivered. One positive note, you can order via a Unilocal link to Eat24 which makes ordering very easy.

My wife is Turkish and loves this place! She had me try the lahmacun today and im hooked. She likes to spread lebni on hers and its amazing. You have to try the fried ciger(liver) as well. For dinner we had the mixed grill and glass of ayran. Kunefe and tea are a must for dessert! Excellent service! Cant wait to go back

I’m literally writing this as I’m sitting here eating, this place is great! We started off by having the spicy chopped salad dish called Ezme, followed by a plate of Beyti sarma and doner with yoghurt; amazing! The service is great and the waitress Sarah was very attentive and answered any questions that we had about the menu. I honestly wish I took the time to take a few pictures, but the food was too good to stop and snap a few. I would highly recommend this place over the few other Turkish places that I’ve been to in the area. Enjoy!

Authentic Turkish cuisine. Relaxed atmosphere. Service was great but make sure you get their attention, they will let you sit and wait til you call them(it’s the culture) Dolma, or suffered grape leaves is recommended as an appetizer. Prices I’d say are average, I’ve definitely paid more for less. Afiyet ölsün!

This place just keeps getting better. Came back so I could give in to my cravings for their fried calves liver, their feta cigars, their eggplant. Added a couple of new items this time, working on working through their menu — ordered the Pide with egg and cheese; think long oval pizza and you get the idea. Hot and fresh and wonderful. Finally got the mante — think little lamb ravioli — and you get the idea — topped with butter, yogurt and sumac. Yes and yes. They were actually better than I have had elsewhere because they actually DRAIN them before putting them on the plate so the mante isn’t sitting in rapidly cooling pasta water. Please note, though, that this is is not a dish served steaming hot, which is how I like my pasta. The cold garlicky yogurt cools it down and you know what? It’s delish. My new go-to dessert is that lovely Kunefe and it didn’t disappoint. Rumor has it they are moving their business to the Hackensack area. I am hopeful, but we shall continue to visit their Cliffside Park establishment weekly for the forseeable future. Go. Go. Go.

I could go on and on about this place. Went here with a group of friends after hearing such great things from so many people and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by a lovely waitress who was very warm and welcoming. For appetizers we shared some shepherd’s salad(turkish feta on the side), hummus, babagannus, and spinach pide. Everything was perfect. I couldn’t get enough. But I did leave room for my entrée which was phenomenal. All my buddies ordered the traditional doner, I went a little different and ordered the beyti kebab. We capped it off with a Turkish coffee. Amazing meal.

Sara is the best. She remembers what I always order and always gives great suggestions. The chef Cengiz, makes the best Turkish food in NJ and they use great quality of meat. Atmosphere is family friendly and laid back. Great lunch special prices.

I regularly order take out or eat in here. Typically order the huge pide, lamachun, shepards salad, and manti-always happy with the food and service. Waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. There are plenty of Turkish places in the area, but this is one of my favorite. Other spots have good food as well, but the staff have often been a bit rude… At Turkish kitchen, the great quality of food the staff makes this place A-1 in my opinion.

Went here for dinner with my family, party of 7 + 2 kids, food was great, but service was poor. We had to ask for bread and water several times. These are usually items that should be provided once a party is settled, not items that should be requested. My husband ordered a Shepard salad with feta, but we got one without feta. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she started arguing with us that no one ordered feta. It was clear she was not interested in being a hospitable waitress, but rather wanted to spend time with the regulars and was looking at pictures on patrons phones rather than taking our order. Don’t go here to dine in, probably better to order take out… unless you are a «regular»

Extremely disappointed with this place. The meat was dry, old and very smelly! We had the Adana kebab and gyro platter and a Turkish pizza and the meat on all of them smelled so strong I couldn’t even eat it! I told the waitress but all she said was next time she would change it for me because this time they this time they were too busy. There were only two other couples in the restaurant! My boyfriend and I were so excited to finally find a Turkish spot in the area and we know lamb can have a strong smell but not like this, this was not right! We came here because we saw all the positive reviews but unfortunately we do not feel they are accurate.

Really cool and authentic place. The music is turkish, the design — its really homey and warm. In 45 $(plus 5 $ tip((:) we got hummus as an appetizer which was really good(Im Israeli and we have the best hummus.(;), 2 main course and 2 drinks. I eat the lamb shis kebab it was good but to much well done for my taste but eatable. Each of the main course came with a delicious rice– amazing rice!!, grill tomato and kind of pita slices. So Really great prices for nice dinner and atmosphere !!!

Great food for the price and certainly the best service When i want Turkish food I order it only from here. And they deliver, great on game days, eating Lahmacun traditionally street food while watching a Sunday game. Such a friendly people, they smile and wave at me when I am passing by. When food is served by a people who are happy to see you there it certainly makes it much better. They know how to cook and serve, so what else can I ask for… Thank you for doing such a great job.

I always pass by the place and always wanted to try it out, today was the day I walked in and ordered a takeout chicken kebob and the ground meat platter. Food was good, the meat was full of flavor, but the rice was very plain, not the kind of rice you would expect at an Arabic or Turkish restaurant, price isn’t that high but portions was little cheap. I will give them another try in the future maybe a delivery. Very clean place though.
