Only go here if everything else is closed and you absolutely need something essential. Be prepared to be treated like poo. The announcement was made that you can check out at customer service with ten items or less. Clerk at that counter was as friendly as a thorny bush. Granted, we don’t have to become bowling buddies but I should be at least allowed one question. Today waa not that day. I’ve been treated better in a fight.

Just had a horrible experience at this Kmart. I tried to purchase 2 items in the store that were on sale online. These items were in the store. It did not state that the sale was online only. When I tried to purchase the items in the store they did not honor the online price. I spoke to the manger, who was a woman with an African dialect, and she told me I had to order the items online and wait for processing. I had to purchase these items while I was in the store, online, off of my phone and wait until they processed the order. This is so damn stupid. And the reason she gave was because there was a $ 27 dollar difference between the online price and the in store price! I must however say Thank You to Michelle for helping and processing my order right away. That awful manger had her running around doing all the dirty work.

Avoid at all costs!
Tonight I spent over 15 minutes on hold waiting to be helped. The customer service girl that initially answered the phone transferred me to the shoe department after I asked if they had an electronics item in stock. The girl in the shoe department had no idea how to transfer me over, so she asked for her manager’s help. I gave him a general description and I was placed on hold (15 minutes before I hung up and called back).
I then asked for the manager on duty. It turns out he was the one that left me on hold! He was helping another customer (and still was I guess) because he asked to put me back on hold. After 5 more minutes, I gave up. It’s obvious they don’t care about customer service and based on my phone experience with them this evening (25 minutes just being on hold), I will probably end up returning the item instead of trying to replace it. Awful experience.

Rough K-Mart. Needs a remodel or just not to be there. Unclean, crappy store in Clifton. K-Mart is on the outs… this place shows that for sure.

This store is in bad need of a remodel. It’s Kmart, not Target. I tell myself that as I walk through the aisles.
If you’re in the area and have to stop then give it a go. Don’t bother if you’re in a hurry as there is usually only one checkout line open, regardless of the number of people waiting.

This store is absolutely ghetto! I stopped to return an item and they have a sign stating «No refunds. Island Ave MacDade Ave and Castor Ave»! I have never been to a corporate store that refused to do refunds. This is another reason why Kmart is struggling and will br closing more stores.

Probably the worst store I’ve ever continually been to. If it wasn’t a three minute walk from where I live I’d never step foot.
The store is dirty, buggy, horrible layout, items out of place and miserable cashiers. I am guessing they get paid minimum wage because I have never in the past five years had a nice cashier help me. Anyway it’s cheap and close but please don’t go out of your way to shop at this location (Clifton heights)

Not the greatest place to shop, even by Kmart standards. The parking lot hasn’t been paved in, probably over 10 years, the lines designating spaces need to be re-painted. And that’s just the outside.
On the inside, there are racks and racks of clothes (discount??) in the aisles which are not kept in any sort of order — they look like people just strew them about, and nobody bothered to clean up the order. Also, the floors & walls aren’t exactly the cleanest. It also takes forever to check out, the check-out people are slooooooowwwwwww. Better to try Target up the road a few miles.

I’m all for discounted prices and a store that has everything in one place, but this KMart is NOT my favorite place to be. The store itself never seems clean, the shelves are not organized and sometimes not well stocked and there is ALWAYS a line. No matter what time of day or not. The employees don’t seem to care or want to be there and it shows in the presentation of the store. While I can still find some bargains and it’s the closest department store to me, I generally would rather drive a few extra miles to avoid wasting time here!
