The best and most traditional barbershop in the Capital Region can be found in the old Price Chopper plaza.
Sandwhiched between a Chinese take-​out and the amazing vegetarian-​friendly Antipasto’s Italian Restaurant, this old school gem is part of Clifton Park history.
I have been going to Clifton Plaza Barber Shop as far back as I can remember, and despite growing older and moving away, I keep coming back whenever I am in town.
Although some of the original barbers (Bruce and Tom) are no longer working there, Steve and his son hold down the tradition of a good, fast cut and great conversation.
The fan favorite, Joe, also makes an appearance from time to time as well.
Sponsoring local Shen athletics, and active participants in the community, this is as much a place to get a haircut and shave as it is to shoot the breeze about Shen Wrestling, Yankees, and life with the barbers.
I will be keep coming here as long as it is still around which I hope is forever.
