We have stayed at this particular Hilton many times for the Christmas season. We enjoy the activities in the connected mall and surrounding commercial area. This year we had an incident where the shower in our suite would not turn off, however, the hotel staff was able to accommodate our family in another room and were very pleasant. We hope to be able to stay here in the future, thank you Hilton

My family and I stayed here this past summer with multiple issues ranging from accommodations to meals and finally airport transportation. The staff however was friendly and this is a very convenient location for us. So I booked again. I booked again last week through a third party much less than 24 hours before arrival. I was to arrive at midnight to a hotel that had multiple rooms available. Once getting to the airport I immediately cancelled my reservation at 11:30 at night. I was still charged for my room. When I spoke to the hotel I was told that I cancelled within 24 hours of arrival. I said I book within 20 hours of arrival to a hotel with a great deal of availability. The sales manager I spoke to was snippy and rude. I asked for a return call from the manager Kyle. Instead days later I received a email from Kyle advising that they could not rebook my room due to the late notice and the charges would stand. It appears repeat customers are not important to this management. It also appears that despite the multiple rooms that were available to other patrons this was the only room they were concerned with.

This is always a nice stop while travelling… Jason was very nice and attentive while checking me in and was helpful. …the dining area is nice to get a decent meal at… the rooms are well maintained and the staff is very friendly. …the biggest knock is the parking… it is located next to a movie theater. …and in a shopping center.

I thought this was actually a really decent hotel to stay at. The customer service was very good and the rooms were also very clean. Those are my two biggest gripes for most hotels and this place was great on both. They have a restaurant connected to the hotel which I did not go to but I was told that it was pretty good but a lot on the expensive side. Most hotel restaurants and bars are which is why I avoid them if I can. Just outside of the hotel are at least a half dozen other places to eat within walking distance in the parking lot. The whole area is all connected to a mall so there is plenty to go and do right in that small area. There’s even a movie theatre right next to it as well. In short, the location is really quite good. They had a good business center in the hotel with a couple of computers and printers where all of the equipment actually worked, was stocked with paper and the office supplies were well stocked. They had a workout room that looked pretty decent and a smallish sized pool too. My only gripe about this place is that it’s a little pricey at something like $ 130ish a night. Still, it’s a great hotel that I’d stay at again.

I was here for a conference. The space is nice although the banquet rooms were very dim. The coffee was awful; tasted like burnt water(I think Mazzone was the catering company). And as is usual the place was freezing. I had to leave the conference at one point to go outside and warm up. On a plus side it was extremely clean and very modern looking.

Great Place to stay these guys have a great restaurant(not your typical American Grill) Big plus for me. Only draw back is parking being connected to a mall means some times you will have to hike to the hotel. If the parking could be fixed then this HGI would be a five.

I stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn for about a week, recently. There were some definite good things and some things that could use some work. The hotel is new, nicely decorated, has a decent in house restaurant(breakfast buffet was mediocre to gross), free wifi, an ok gym(mostly cardio equiptment), a medium sized pool, and is conveniently connected to a shopping mall. The convenience of being connected the the mall however, makes for not so great hotel guest parking, at times. The hotel has one row of hotel parking. If you don’t get a spot there, you have to use mall parking, which can leave one with a bit of a walk. When dealing with luggage and/or kids, it’s not the most convenient of things. Check in was a little funny. I did not book the room, but was added to the reservation so that I would be able to check in on my own. This seemed to confuse the front desk staff and caused a few issues. It was awkward for me. I was told«well we’re a new hotel and still learning how to do things and being connected to the mall we have to check to make sure everything is ok». I’ve never had this issue before. Maybe it was because I checked in late at night wearing a hoodie? I dunno. One of the days during my stay, I had an appointment at a certain time. I had enough time to shower and get ready before the appointment, but housekeeping didn’t leave me bath towels the last time they had cleaned my room. I called to have some brought up, about 15 minutes passed, so I called again, I was told they were on the way. About 40 minutes went by from the first call so I called again and was told they were washing and drying towels at the moment. How does a hotel run out of towels? The first room I stayed in was a regular king bedroom. It was a decent size and my toddler and I were comfortable. The shower however does not work properly! Mid shower the water would turn scalding hot. No matter how far to the cold side, I turned the shower know, it stayed hot. I hope they fix this because someone could get hurt. I did kind of figure out how to fix it, turn the knob to the cold side and then back to hot, it usually evened out the water temp. The second room I stayed in was a king bedroom suite. Very spacious for a Hilton hotel suite, nice little kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, and a small sink for me to wash dishes. I wish there had been a dining table, there was a fairly large, empty space right next to the«kitchen» area that seemed a waste of space, and would have been ideal for a table. Living room is separate from the bedroom and includes a sofa bed. The bedroom has a comfortable bed, tv, an ipod dock/alarm clock, and enough space for comfortably moving around. Bathroom was large, there was a standing shower(with no water issues) and a separate whirlpool tub. The vanity/sink area were a good size and I have no complaints about the lighting. You can take a bath with or without having overhead lighting, which is nice. Housekeeping hours are limited, the one day I requested service they were gone before 3. I asked for fresh towels and linens and they sent a guy from maintenance up with the items. Which was fine. However, a few minutes later a lady I’d seen working at check in, was knocking on the door to ask how the guy from maintenance had handled things«Did he just hand you the towels and bedding? I believe you wanted your bed made, right?». That was awkward for me and I felt badly for the guy, he’s not housekeeping and I didn’t expect him to make my bed. By the end of my stay, I was mostly happy with my experience and I would stay again. Steve from maintenance, Scott the overnight front desk guy, and Frank and Theresa, the daytime desk people I saw most of the time, were all helpful and pleasant.
