My experience in dealing with Robin DeFalco, works with Miranda involved my Spring 2015 purchase of a condo in Saratoga Springs and selling my home in Clifton Park. I am sharing my experience so would-be buyers and sellers be «buyer/seller beware» with this realtor. Summarily, Robin is a good talker, but fails to deliver. After much thought and frustration, I decided to cancel my MLS contract with her brokerage firm because I had no faith in their ability to sell my home. She over-valued the price of my home, which overwhelmingly was commented as «too high priced» by prospective buyers. She said the home should sell within a month. Far be it from the truth given she had no marketing plan other than MLS and internet websites. Selling a home shouldn’t have to be this frustrating. Customers expect realtors to deliver on their promise and deliver a competent and relevant marketing approach that is responsive to current market condition. Instead, what I got was a fast-talking realtor with no actionable ideas to sell my house, especially given I had made a cash-offer to the condo-owner in Saratoga and I had to sell my house«quickly» to cover my closing. Pending the sale of my home, I am paying interest costs of over $ 700 monthly on bridge loans to close on the condo. In summary, I would not recommend this realtor or her affiliated Clifton Park broker because she is a very enticing talker, but dare walk her walk into a maze of confusion and frustration.
