My favorite place to grab breakfast. The food is delicious and prices are right. On top of that the service is outstanding, everything is clean, and the environment is very peaceful. Just a good place to eat.

Bathrooms were disgusting, after seeing that I did not even think about ordering food, I just left. I make it a point to to shop«mom and pop», after seeing that and the other reviews, I won’t be giving this place a second chance.

After waiting at least 40 minutes for our breakfast, the waitress asked if she could get us anything else today and proceeded to hand us our check for the food we hadn’t yet received. Sorry, 45 minutes for breakfast is way too long, we saw people next to us come in, order eat and pay while we sat waiting. First time in, won’t be back!

After years of driving by this place, I decided to stop in for breakfast this morning. This establishment offers booth, table and counter seating for breakfast and lunch service only. My waitress was friendly and efficient, and I was pleased to see the staff work in tandem to serve your needs quickly. I opted for the Corned Beef Hash with two eggs and toast at $ 7.00. It would have been nice if they had offered this with home fries or hash browns, but alas, they hit you up for $ 2.50 for a side order. The corned beef hash was very good, but the cook does not understand the meaning of «over medium» on the eggs. Why is it that cooks insist on serving them over easy? On the whole, the breakfast was of decent taste and quality. My criticisms of this eatery are few. The coffee is one shade up from warm water. I’ve had tea that was stronger than this. I was happy that my waitress removed it from my bill, after seeing that I wasn’t drinking it. I was also disappointed to find the ketchup was amongst the lowest quality that I’ve ever eaten. I like plenty of ketchup on my eggs, hash and potatoes, so next time I bring my own bottle. I’ll also bring my own coffee. It wasn’t the best breakfast place in my driving span, but it also wasn’t the worst. Good hash, friendly service and reasonable prices will bring me back for another try. We’ll see how it goes next time.

I gave it a second chance. This time the service was ok(sat at the bar), but the food was terrible. I’m not a food snob, I love a simple eggs, potatoes, and toast breakfast. Had to be one of the worst breakfast meals I’ve ever had.

I recently went here for breakfast and will never go back again. We sat ourselves in a booth in the first room and were ignored for 10 mins while other«regulars» it seemed were greeted at the door were given menus and coffee right away. My boyfriend and I said at the same time«what are we invisible?» And it turns out we were apparently because none of the 4 waitresses working the small room noticed we were there. We agreed ok they’re busy this morning whatever no big deal. After my boyfriend asked for a menu the waitress said«how long have you been here I didn’t even notice you were here» he responded 10 mins, of course– and I watched the waitress walk over to another waitress where the menus were and roll her eyes and say«he said they were here 10 mins». I’d call that strike 1. Then there were all the regulars in and out hollering across the restaurant at each other that added to our irritation as we quietly waited to order our food… finally came our«friendly waitress», begrudgingly taking our order. Another waitress handed us our food and my boyfriends order was wrong. Strike 2. After he asked the waitress for what he ordered she sighed heavily and disappeared for 5 mins with and came back with his order, slid it across the table at him, didn’t say a word and walked away. Wow, great customer service. The food was sub par. I ordered pancakes with sausage links. The pancakes were thin and you couldn’t slide your fork into it to cut it. I had to use a knife, so in other words they weren’t soft and fluffy. All in all, if you are looking for a quiet place to eat breakfast on the weekend– don’t go here. You’ll leave feeling as if you somehow offended the waitresses just by walking in the door, like you are sitting in a noisy high school cafeteria, and you’ll be completely unsatisfied with whatever food is carelessly slid across your table.

Went on 2÷5÷15 due to it being very close to my house and time was a factor. Our waitress was not very attentive and our coffee was warm at best. I ordered a waffle with strawberries and the strawberries were frozen, not even an attempt was made to provide fresh, cut strawberries. They instead took still frozen strawberries from a bag and put them on my waffle. I was not very pleased and not very enticed to come back in the future.

Snyder’s may be the only decent diner-like establishment in Clifton Park. ATMOSPHERE: The outside of Snyder’s resembles a red barn which gives it a quaint aesthetic. Inside the décor is rather interesting. To give the illusion of depth, there are large mirrors on the walls, and there are also antique farm tools hanging everywhere. Seating is self serve, so don’t walk in and expect a host to greet you. SERVICE: The service here is okay. Our server was a brunette female who appeared to be in her early 40s with a lot of blue eye shadow and a piercing on the left side of her upper lip. We didn’t get her name, so that’s the only description I can offer. I’ve read other reviews claiming the service is slow, but for a busy Sunday lunch it wasn’t bad. It wasn’t outstanding either, but overall it was adequate. FOOD: While the menu is only two pages, the quality is kept fairly high by limiting the selection. This isn’t to say, though, that there were few choices because there were plenty. My girlfriend got the corned beef hash with a generous helping of scrambled eggs and four pieces of toast. I got the South of the Border burger which was a half pound patty topped with salsa and my choice of cheese(I got cheddar). I asked for it cooked medium, and it came out just that way. I’m not sure why, but numerous places in Saratoga County have a deficiency in being able to properly cook beef. The burger was practically slathered with cheese, so it was very filling. It also came with fries. VALUE: Excellent bang for the buck here. My girlfriend’s breakfast was quite a bit of food for $ 6.55, and my burger and fries were only $ 8.60 but of better quality and portion size compared to most other places. Coffee was only $ 1.50. This is one of extremely few locations where two people can eat at a full service restaurant for under $ 20 after tax(our bill was $ 17.82). My only complaint about Snyder’s is the hours. It’s open daily but only from 6AM-3PM. If you want dinner here, that will not be possible.

Pretty standard diner fare with great prices. The inside looked as though it had been remodeled recently and was more inviting than your average diner décor. Its a good option if are in the area but not special enough for long drive.

Cheap, pretty good food. It’s a solid option for breakfast or lunch, and it’s in a pretty convenient location in Clifton Park. The service generally leaves a bit to be desired, but overall this place is pretty OK. This is a popular destination for people in and around Clifton Park.

Greasy spoon at it’s best. Josh A. review is spot on. I at breakfast and lunch here for years. I don’t live in town anymore, and try to make a trip here every time I am back. Service: 5 stars all the way. The servers are great and is a big part of why there are so many regulars there. One meal here and you’ll see that half the people in there know all the staff. It’s great. I will add that the breakfast sammi is great and the tuna club is a must. As for the outside décor, I’ve heard they spruced it up a bit. I believe it’s a very old farm house of some sort which adds to the atmosphere. This is the truest ‘locals’ place for a reason!

Went to Snyder’s for breakfast and it was hopping which I imagine would be usual for a Sunday morning. You know it has to be good right? My husband ordered steak and eggs. I tried his steak which was delicious. I gave the eastern omelette a try and it was very tasty. In the eastern, there’s diced ham and cheese. Most omelettes I’ve tried elsewhere have been dry and bland. This omelette was flavorful and juicy. Both of our breakfasts came with home fries. Mine was accompanied by toast. Knowing that they were really busy, our waitress had forgotten my toast but quickly retrieved it when asked. Additionally, she charged us for a coffee we didn’t order but that was stricken through very quickly as well. Overall, tasty food and I definitely will return.

If you enjoy huge Fish Fry’s, Manhattan Clam Chowder, & Cold Beer, then there is no better place to eat on the planet. Snyders fish fry’s are the best of the best, second to none. My 5 star review is based solely on that sandwich and any of their delicious soups. In 30 years, I don’t ever remember ordering anything else. As you pull up, or walk inside, you won’t mistake it for anyplace classy, but don’t let that discourage you from ordering«1 fish with chili sauce, and a bowl of chowder».(and a beer of course)

I have been coming here basically my whole teenage life. This is the place where I had my first job at. I was a dishwasher here for 3 years when I was growing up and the owners were a great bunch of people to work for. Their names were Harold and his daughter Kevia. The cooks were Whitely, which was a older Irish gentlemen, he was a pisser and Skip was the other cook, Kevia also cook on the weekends as the restaurant was busier at that time. As of there are new owners, with all new cooks. The food for the most part taste the same but their prices went UP. Every time I come here I get the same thing, a breakfast sandwich of sausage egg and cheese on a toasted hard roll and a order of home fries. I also have tried their omelette’s and belgian waffle. I don’t care for their omelette’s at all they never taste good to me, and they also are cold by the time it arrives to my table. Their waffles are good but they don’t ever seem to fill me up. So that’s why I stick to ordering my «staple» which is what I stated earlier the breakfast sandwich and home fries. This visit I order a blueberry muffin to start with and I split it with my wife. This is something you have to try, they make all of their muffins in house so you know that they are nice and fresh… good stuff! So as my sandwich and home fries came out it looked as good as it normally does. The sandwich itself was up to par like I was expecting it would be but the home fries were lacking favor. I was bumped because that is one of the main reason why I love coming here. I couldn’t even taste salt on them. I also order them extra crispy and they didn’t come out that way but I was too hungry to send them back. The service was good and my coffee cup was always full. Over all a ok place to stop and grab a greasy breakfast.

Greasy Breakfast indeed. Four Stars because this place is a pure slice of America with a side of America f-yeah whipped cream. Don’t be turned away by the outside, um, décor. Consistency and cheap food is the name of the game. Food– 2.5 Stars Somewhere between good and OK. Generally greasy, a bit flavorless, and hot. Simpler items are better, but their eggs benedict isn’t bad either. Not my favorite homefries in the world. I usually grab a sammich like Eugene. Service– 5 Stars Never had anything less than«how you doin’ hon’?» phenomenal service at Snyders. Atmosphere– 4 Stars Hell yes I want bar that serves breakfast(or is it a breakfast place that has a bar?) and has Quickdraw in what is probably a converted old house. Breakfast counter has extra authenticity. Value– 5 Stars Cheap as hell and the food doesn’t suck. Drinks– 3 Stars Passable not great hot coffee.
