Ameti’s Pizza

Just ordered delivery from here. I’ve ordered from almost everywhere in the area already thanks to Unilocal and Grubhub so was pretty excited to try some place new. Food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. There’s also a pretty nice variety of foods that a lot of places around here don’t have, like fried oreos! I’m not a fan of them myself but I know many people love them.
I got the 12″ mac and cheese pizza. Was a little nervous since I’ve never had it before, but it was so good. Ate it way too fast, pretty much scarfed it down and now I have a stomach ache lol… Also ordered the zeppoles, a little bit disappointed in that though. Not really any powdered sugar on it, just little clumps.
That’s okay though, still better than a lot of places I have previously ordered from so will gladly be back for more.

We LOVE this place. We’ve only ordered delivery thus far; but they do have daily lunch specials that are extremely fairly priced. The delivery is always WARM, like out of the oven warm. The toppings are fresh & the staff are always polite and friendly.
Summing it up… polite staff, fresh ingredients, warm delivery earns Ameti’s our business.

Ordered from here the other night, best pizza I have had in awhile. It being my first time I only hope the pizza stays that good! Fried Oreos are amazing from this place and also their penne vodka pasta is amazing I would eat here all the time if I could. flavors are great and they cook everything perfectly at this location. Staff is also very nice.
Delivering took awhile but I do live far away from Clifton and it got here under an hour. Will be eating/​ordering fromhere again! One

I’ve ordered from this place 3 or 4 times now. Each time the wait gets longer. I’m now at 2 hours and no food and food is supposedly on its way. There prices are good and their food is decent … The sandwiches have been a hit with the whole family along with the fried Oreos… But after tonight, I don’t know if we will be ordering again!

I ordered a pizza and it wasn’t the best but absolutely wasn’t the worst. I didn’t try many of the items that people rave about but I would try this place again. The delivery service worked great and that alone was worth ordering there. I am looking forward to a second try!

This is our favorite place to order from! Everything we’ve ordered has been delicious. The people working here are super friendly too. We order from here almost once a week. There usually is a longer than usual wait for your food compared to other delivery places but when a place has good food like this they are naturally busier and that happens. Let me tell you the whole extra 10 – 15 minute wait is always worth it! Try the eggplant parm sandwich in vodka sauce with a side of fried oreos, yummy!

I found this place because it was the only nearby Italian place at the time which worked with Seamless. We have ordered many times since. The food is always fresh and delivery is fast. I highly recommend!

Ordered at 6:07. Called back at 7:15 to find out a status on the order. The girl on the phone said «they’re in the oven and would be out in a few minutes» I reiterated that the order was placed at 6:07. Her response was «we got a little backed up» No apologies, no offers of a discount for our having waited well over an hour to find out our food wasn’t even on its way yet. If the owner monitors the Unilocal account I’d appreciate if you make this right. We love the food, but won’t be ordering again until we are compensated.

Excellent grub. They make a great fried flounder sammich, deliciously soft Nutella Zeppoles, and wonderfully tender strombolis. Oh, and they’ve got fried raviolis that are the BEE’s KNEES! OMFG, they are so LIT. Lit, Lit, Liggedy Lit.
The icing on the cake is how FAST they deliver. I couldn’t tell you any other restaurant I’ve ordered from (besides Chinese) where I was delivered HOT FOOD upon arrival!

Large pie was enough for 3 to 4 people
Pepperoni was a little light but had a nice kick to it
Pizza was a bit greasy so remember to dab it a bit before munching to save your pants

We order a lot of pizza and we find that Ameti’s is the best. We’ve been happy with everything we’ve ordered. Most of the time it arrives fresh, hot and on time.

Have been ordering take out from here for the past month. My new favorite pizza place. Always hot, prompt, and delicious. Online ordering makes it easy as can be. Huge fan of crust! Definitely recommend to anyone in the Clifton area.

I literally am still stuffing my face while writing this review! This food was delivered fresh to my house in under an hour off of grub hub. I left a message just to leave it on the porch — didn’t feel like dealing with anyone. Holy shit had I of known the food was going to be this good I would have hugged instead of hid front he delivery boy!
This food is so fantastic. I just moved to the area, so I was concerned about how good could it be — the prices are really good — but is the food?
The answer is YES!!! I seriously died and went to heaved when I bit into the nuttella zeppoli and the deep fried oreo! Best like $ 1.50 I ever spent on junk food.
I ordered the 6 inch pie which is the perfect amount for 1 person who wants leftovers. It’s still big! I ordered half plain. Half artichoke, roasted pepper, fresh mozz, and fresh basil. Omg it was so DELICIOUS!!! I
I also got disco fries — I know I’m a fatty but its that time of the month so i figured let me order all that is evil now while I have the house to myself and nobody will be here to judge my inner fat self.
Well whatever I saw, I ordered, I waited and I destroyed!!! I ate all the fries — ate half the pie. killed the zeppolis and i’m crying because Im too full to finish the oreos right now, but I’ll give it some time this food will not last the night!
I’m so very very happy with my order — I hope it wasn’t a freak thing! I’ll order again in a few days to make sure this place is consistent.
Well I’m happy I look forward to trying many more things ie. the FAT BOY SUB!

I’ve ordered from here plenty of times because I like the menu and was attracted to the so called «Free Delivery» which is NOT free.
The delivery person always comes to the wrong door, and forgets utensils, but it didn’t bother me much, I just figured next time I won’t leave a tip (since it’s included in the «free» delivery fee) and I like to give chances. Today, the delivery guy brings me my food and then asks me, «where’s my tip» & tells me to give him the food back and then wouldn’t leave and kept knocking on my door (crazy). You lost your rabbit ass mind. No! You don’t deserve a tip and just for that, I’m not tipping nor ever ordering from this place again. I’ve worked in fast food/​restaurants and that is not how you treat a customer. Learn customer service skills or quit if you won’t perform your job well, and have some respect for a paying customer.
In addition, he came unprepared with no pen for me to sign the receipt (which I’ve never had to sign). So I had to go back in my house to find a pen and sign. After all was said and done, I called the restaurant to complain and the girl who answered said she can’t do anything about it because he’s the owner. Terrible!

My boyfriend and I ordered delivery from Ameti for the first time tonight and I must say, we’re rather disappointed. We ordered a 12 inch gluten-​free pie («Summer bodies are made in the Winter») and when we opened the box it appeared as though half the size of the pizza was missing. I can’t speak for the non gluten-​free size but if you choose gluten-​free, expect 3 bites of food.

Pizza is thin and delicious.
I understand between the hours of 2 and 4 PM, pizza slices are 99 cents each. Think they limit two per person.
The Grilled Chicken with Mozzarella and Arugula sandwich is very good.

Who gets my regular business from now on? Yep. Ameti’s.
We were looking for a place that would deliver and our usual place didn’t want to answer the phone tonight. I’m so glad we found Ameti’s. We ordered a calzone, chicken cheesesteak, fries and a coke. The calzone was great. The chicken cheesesteak was made as I like it, which is to say without onions, peppers or mushrooms (or «plain» if you prefer), and was perfectly done on scrumptious bread. The fries were just the ticket on a cold night.
Delivery was prompt, courteous and friendly to us and the dogs. Our payment was made with credit card over the phone in advance, which I prefer.
They forgot our coke, but a quick call had them refund the card for the difference.

I LOVE the sandwiches here! I usually order the grilled chicken w lettuce tomato oil vinegar mayo and oregano. Today I ordered a turkey w cheese and it was great. I don’t like their pizza though! The sauce is too sweet for me.

I ordered the pepperoni pizza and thought it was pretty good — I enjoyed the sauce! I also ordered the Sicilian and I thought it was decent, but I’m not a huge Sicilian fan to begin with. Definitely not a bad pizza place, but not the best.
Went here another time and decided to get something a little different… grilled salmon sandwich. Really awful! The teriyaki sauce was whack and the bread was bad.
I will go here again to try another dish because granted maybe a salmon sandwich wasn’t the best thing to order from a pizza joint.
