The place is not fancy at all, but food is delicious. I come here all the time and they never disappoint. Come here if you want Real Peruvian food.

Uno de los pocos restaurantes por la zona que mantiene sus comidas deliciosas, frescas y sobre todo que el personal que atiende y los dueños son personas de gran calidad, atentos, respetuosos y siempre amables, sin duda son los mejores

Haven’t been here in years. Started off great. Then it got sloppy(diff owners?). Then it just wasn’t good. But its okay at best. Can’t go wrong with a lunch special. i wonder if its still $ 7?

Yes the place is not fancy, but it’s delicious and it’s as authentic as it gets. I’m peruvian, I know. Fancy restaurants unfortunately might be comfortable but usually are skimpy and they alter the recipes a bit much, not to mention expensive, El Fogon restaurant it’s affordable, authentic and delicious.

I have recently tried Peruvian food and became a big fan. In this neighborhood there are a lot of Peruvian restaurants and I think this is one of the best. The place itself is a bit of a dive. I wouldn’t recommend dining in. I get take out or delivery at least once a week. The portions are large, the food is fresh and delicious! My favorite is the choros de la chalacas, which is an appetizer of cold mussels with chopped onions, tomatoes, corn and lemon juice over it. My husband gets the lomo saltado and always has enough leftover to make another meal. I’m not a fan of meat, but this stir fried steak over rice with french fries and tomatoes is really good! Going to order tonight actually!
