Noches de Colombia is a staple for Colombian cuisine. Pan de Bono, bandeja paisa… all deliciousness and worth every cent you pay. Dining in during peak times may require some additional time seeing as they get pretty packed, however, they do offer takeout and delivery if needed. Whether you’re looking for a full meal or a quick bite, Noches is always a solid choice.

Good food, subpar service. The waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered. The restaurant was virtually empty and it still took quite amount of time for us to get our food. Also we ordered an app but we never got it. Once we finally finished it took us 20+ minutes to get the check, which I had to get up and ask our waitress for. She charged us for the app, asked her to take it off annnnd she never did. Had to get the manager who also, surprise, didn’t look too pleased to be bothered with us. He didn’t quite fix it but reimbursed us only half of the money from the app. The service seems to be getting worse at this location but luckily there’s plenty of other locations, hopefully with better service.

service use to be good, but has gone down tremendously. the wait is long and people don’t even greet you. I feel like the food is also extremely over priced especially for its taste. The only good thing they have is there empanadas.

As a Colombian this is not a restaurant, it is more likely an overpriced/over rated food-truck food. This place was lacking good food, service and management. We were there this morning for breakfast: one order of eggs, 2 arepas, 1 orange juice and a coffee: $ 34… All this after ½ hr wait while the manager was on Facebook on his Apple computer facing the failing empire. Hopefully, an upper manager or owner get to read these reviews and take serious steps to overturn this failing«restaurant»

Long wait. Understandable, however if you are not hispanic they will skip over you and make you wait longer. We waited an hour and watched as hispanic people walk in and get seated in 10 – 15 minutes. When brought to the hostess’ attention she said they were a party of 3 and we were a party of 4. Racist establishment.

Sunday brunch with the gang. Colombian food it is. Good service and friendly people along with tasty food make for a great time. Only complaint is they again ran out of soup. At 1:00pm it’s way to early to run out. Come on. We will try again cause I love it.

I’ve heard a lot about this chain but, can’t say I was extremely tempted to come here. It was my aunt’s birthday so went with a pretty large crowd and it was pretty much exactly what I expected. I will say this though: don’t come and order the sangria if(1) you’re expecting to just have 1 or(2) wish to leave without feeling buzzed. It’s god damn delicious but does a number on you. This lovely alcoholic beverage is just what the doctor ordered when you’ve had a long day at work. We ordered 2 Picadas Noches(pork cracklings, fried sausage, fried steak, and a few tostones) to start. Standard but especially loved the dipping sauces. I had the Camarones al Ajillo(Shrimp in Garlic Sauce) alongside sweet plantains and avocado as my side options. The shrimp were yummy and the portion was great. For everyone else that ordered steak, fish or chicken, the all took food home because these plates are much bigger. I think people chose to come here more so to be in a big group and have a good time rather than have an amazing food experience but, that might be a stretch. I personally don’t see how this empire has grown so rampantly with 15 locations all over NJ but hey, that might just be my inner-food snob speaking.

Had the Slowest service and rude waitress who never even asked if we needed drinks refills. After we paid we were literally asked to leave if we didn’t want anything else.

This Noches location seemed livelier than the other ones I’ve been to. It had a good crowd and awesome drinks! I got some sangria and enjoyed it. I didn’t really eat, but the empanadas(or I thought they were…) were yummy. There wasn’t anything to complain about; everything was good.

I have been to other«Noches» restaurants, but I have to say my husband & I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service here. I can’t believe how popping it was for a Saturday early afternoon. Clearly it is the place to be. You cannot beat the prices and quality. Great food for just the right price. I did not order it from this location, but my favorite is the pork with mushroom sauce! Yum! I would have give 5 stars, but the only set back I have is after we ordered-and no longer had menus, we asked the waiter what shakes they had. He told us, very fast, and we could not even remember. We definitely looked confused, I wish he gave us the menu back, but I guess we could have asked for it back as well. Did not end up ordering a shake. Good thing though because the food was enough!!!

I’m gonna get straight to the point. The food here is really good; especially for the amount and price they offer. Service is hella slow period. What makes it worse is if you’re a non-Hispanic customer; they tend to ignore you because of the language barrier. Anyways, I went here one morning with my mom for breakfast. Service was exceptionally fast for once and we got our food right away. What bugged me was when we asked our waitress for a box to wrap our food up! She had cleaning gloves on as she took our food and put it inside the container. My mom and I gave her the«what the fuck» face while she acted like nothing was going on. Either she was completely oblivious to cleanliness or she’s a complete dumbass.

Hey Everyone! So I decided to write about my experience at Noches De Colombia. I have been to a couple of different noches de Colombia locations before, but this one is solely on my experience from my dinner last night. The food– The food was good! For appetizers we had guacamole, which lacked salt, and picada which is a mix of chorizo, mini empanadas(so good!), yuca frita, and chicharron. The picada wasn’t bad, I loved the mini empanadas and the rest was tastey. For dinner I had the pechuga de pollo al marina. Which was chicken breast with shrimp served with a creamy wine sauce. The only problem with this was when I got it I was still eating the appetizers so my food got skittle cold. I was a bit upset over that but, I still ate some though and it was actually amazing! I ate my left overs today and it still didn’t disappoint! For drinks– Passion fruit or in Spanish Maracuya or parcha sangria… PERFECT!!! It was so good! The place was very clean, they had a great karaōke DJ/Singer that came around 10. He was really good!!! I even asked for his info! Only downfall it was expensive. When I saw the bill I was shocked! Definitely not expecting that! But I will be back though I really enjoyed the place! Lots of fun and good food! Always a good mix :)

The food is consistently good but not outstanding. Take it from a Colombian. Here is what bothers me about Noches: 1. There are several locations and all of them offer inconsistent food. 2. The Englewood location is THE best operated restaurant in the chain. Why not make them all equally as good? 3. The service can be a little rushed when they are busy. It’s not their fault… it’s just really busy sometimes and it is a family-friendly restaurant accommodating children, etc. The food is definitely fresh, however. The baked goods are good. My problem is mostly with the entrees. It’s time for Colombian restaurants to focus on execution vs serving huge quantities of food. It would have been nice for Noches to take Colombian food to the next level. Come for a large lunch and take a doggie bag with you for dinner or a hearty breakfast. Don’t expect high quality offerings but rather a good value for your money.

Came here with a friend for the first time after suggesting Colombian food to me. I am no where near an expert on Colombian but I had a very nice experience. We ordered some cheese bread(not found on the menu) with this great consistency that blends the cheese and the bread together without the cheese being too overpowering. We then shared an appetizer and meat platter mix. The appetizer had some chorizo, fried pork belly, empanadas, and fries while the meat platter(suggested by the waiter) had some well seasoned(and juicy) chicken, beef skirt, shrimp, and fried plantains. I decked a few stars because it took quite a bit of time to get the order in and for some reason the main dish came at the same time as the appetizer. Also, we asked for water and got good ol Poland Spring that we paid for. All in all, will come again but maybe order some good drinks(like those smoothies) and be more patient.

*guacamole(the consistency of it was great but it was lacking flavor, I think more salt, lime or even some raw onion would have done something to liven up this guac) *fish in garlic sauce(fish was pretty good, large filets; tostones were very disappointing they were too hard and chewy, they didn’t taste fresh) *empanada(tasted like curry inside; the pastry itself was amazing! soft inside and crisp outside, the consistency of it was perfect and went perfect with the meat filling) *red sangria(very good, not overly sweet and strong enough!) This place was pretty good for its food. The service sucks and they are not attentive. It’s slow and honestly quite frustrating. This location for some crazy reason doesn’t have the pandebono which pissed me off. I think I would rather go the Englewood location because it’s more pleasant and my cheesy bread is there.

Came at 530pm on a Friday night and hada nice size parking lot and quick service once I walked in to meet friends. Restaurant is pretty big… played live music around 8pm and it was hard to chat because it was a bit loud but the woman singing had nice vocals. Sooooo… Got a passion fruit sangria which was delicious(more on the juicy side) and started with the guacamole. This was delicious… didn’t come with chips but with tostones… I think that’s what it’s called. Then I got the garlic shrimp salad and added oil and vinegar. Avocado was nice and fresh along with the rest of the veggies on the plate. I was very happy with my order. The flan was very tasty… great consistency of the custard… not too sweet and it was great with cappuccino. So now… after being there for a few hours… we paid the check and suddenly the waitress told us «if we don’t plan to order anymore food, we need to leave because we need to seat others». And mind you there were open tables available., yes it was busy but I thought it was very rude… they didn’t even offer to have us go to the bar. So my rating dropped tremendously. We pay and then you kick us out??? I know it’s busy but treat your customers with a lot more respect.

So, I’ve finally found my new Colombian spot in NJ, and I’m not disappointed at all. Noches is located inside a strip mall, with tons of parking. I’ve been here a couple of times and must say that the restaurant does get pretty packed during peak hours. The waitresses are really nice and friendly. Service does vary though: sometimes it’s really quick but sometimes it can take forever. Word of advice, skip the appetizers. Most of the entrees are less than $ 16 and usually big enough to feed 2 people! I’ve never been able to finish the entrees and have always taken leftovers home. But if you must order an appetizer, try the chicharron(fried pork belly). Fried to perfection. Yes, it’s a heart attack waiting to happen but you probably won’t regret it(or maybe you will if you do suffer from heart disease!). As for the main entrees, I’ve ordered the Pechuga Empanizado(Breaded Chicken Breast), the Combinado(Strips of Steak and Chicken & Shrimp). Most of the entrees are served with rice and sweet plantains. But my favorite dish is the Bandeja Paisa(grilled steak, rice, beans, fried pork belly, plantains, egg & avocado). That’s a whole lot of food! If you’re in the North Jersey area and in the mood to eat Colombian food, this is the spot!
