Target

Your average, basic Target. Got most of what I needed so no complaints here. The crowd wasn’t impossible like it can be in Flushing. Otherwise nothing dramatically spectacular about it.

The Target in Clifton is around the corner from where I work/​live so I have been coming here for quite a while now.
They have a Pharmacy (which was originally Target, which has recently been changed to an in store CVS pharmacy — not sure how this will affect the service), who I get all of my prescriptions filled by today and have not ever had an issue. Friendly and very courteous, definitely better than the CVS I used to take my prescriptions to in Clifton on Bloomfield Ave by the Allwood circle.
The grocery is well stacked with standard pricing (if not a little elevated since you don’t get all the same circulars/​coupons like you do from Shoprite, etc). Pretty much has everything I ever need though when out shopping for my family.
Only problem I have with this place is I can never seem to get out without having to buy toys for my kids.

This Target is always pack at all times of the day. 20+ registers and only 4 – 5 of them open. Customer service line is busy most of the times. This target is big, but it’s always messy and busy. I come here because it’s close.

Nothing more infuriating than to call the store, speak to some in Customer «Service» to inquire if a product is in stock or not, and then to get there in 20 minutes and stock is not even close to being what was told. I knew from the CSR’s voice that she did not do a physical call to see if the product was in stock or not, she just looked up the DPCI and saw it was in stock and said it was there. I even asked twice, so this is the «silver one» not just that the variety pack is in stock right? Of course, she said «yes» and when I got there, wasn’t in stock. And to top it off, during the holiday season with the temp help, they were totally helpless when I got there and couldn’t find the product. Sorry, but Target really needs to up their ante to be able to compete in this market and retail world.

Love this target but 20 registers and only 3 open on a Saturday 8pm? Cmon now. And don’t re stock the store at this time too. Help out getting the lines going

Beware of mispriced items in this store. Of just nine items bought today, two scanned higher than marked. One was an on-​sale grocery item, the other was an item not on sale, regularly priced at $ 5.49 but scanned at $ 8.29! After paying I went back to double-​check the prices and sure enough I was correct. I went to the Customer Service desk and was given refunds for the differences, but I think I should have been given the items for free, as some supermarkets do to prove that they really do care when they make errors and over-​charge customers. This should be Target’s policy if they want to be known as a company that is dedicated to good customer experience. Instead, I did all of the leg-​work, wasting 10 – 15 minutes of my time, to prove that I was over-​charged. I got the proper price ultimately, but no Target employee apologized, seemed to care about my inconvenience, nor did I get the impression that anyone was going to correct the problem after I left. If I had nothing better to do, I’d go back later today and see if those items scan wrongly again.

I heard a manger over the walkie tell a guy to get off the clock they are going over in hours while there are 1000 people waiting in line. BAD MANAGMENT

Ok Target you are competing with that other place I need not to say any names. I like Target over there competition they are cleaner and nicer staff. I use them for t-​shirts socks boxers and work clothes. The pharmacy is also where I fill my prescriptions. The store is calmer I use them to buy some food and toiletries also buy my cat litter box bags from here. They are in a perfect location sandwich between route 3 east and kingsland road.

Just pooped here. Clean bathrooms. 1 ply toilet paper. Toilet seat was loose, but what can you do. Will poop here again if needed.

This is the closest Target that is open on Sundays late and I desperately needed some air conditioners. It was becoming too painful in the apartment.
The one employee directed me to one spot. We found only two boxes of ac units. I picked one for the living room but wanted a much smaller one for the bedroom.
After looking at end caps, I couldn’t find it. We found an employee, who directed us to another end cap further away and there they were?! It was so weird and out of place by like the greeting cards. Whatever, I just wanted to get them installed and go home.
We finally get to the register to ring up. However, my card refused to allow the approval. We tried 3 times. Then I called my bank, I had the funds, they just didn’t want to approve it because it was such a large purchase at Target (ever since the issues with the credit card fraud, my bank flags any large purchases at all at this store). Ugh.
I had to wait 10 mins while it cleared. I went to ring up again, still nothing. And then it kept taking the funds out of my bank account still. Finally, we used my boyfriend’s card and even HIS bank flagged it as fraud. Ridiculous. After 20 mins, finally my card went through. We both had to call our banks to verify it was us. What insanity.
When I worked in retail, I’d call the banks along with the customer or the bank just required the store to call up real quick to confirm. It was ridiculous because we just stood there and stood there waiting. Target has to do something with the banks to make sure they’re not getting flagged because that’s ridiculous.

Ok Target, good for your everyday items. Beware of the food there though, I usually check dates, but when I forget I am always kicking myself later. I’ve left this Target more than once with expired food items. One of which was 6 MONTHS past the expiration date. That’s ridiculous.
The cashiers are hit or miss, some are really friendly (in my experience the morning ones) and some are just awful.

Although it is closer to me, it is not my usual location. I usually prefer the Vauxhall location because it has a larger selection of items. This location does have its benefits, which are listed below:
Pros:
–Parking is easy, with many spots available in the large lot
–Store is always kept clean, including the floors and the bathrooms
–Most of the staff is polite and personable, although I did not find that to be the case when I attempted to buy some water in the food court
–This location is not as crowded as some other locations
–Items are logically placed and store is well laid out
Cons
–Fewer items and less of a selection than other Target stores
–Seem to have fewer carts and often they have bum wheels that go «click, click, click» when you go down the aisles
A good location when you want to go shopping to pick up the essentials after catching a movie at the AMC.

I just don’t get it? I work in customer service field, and don’t think I’m expecting to much. When I’m ready to check out, and in a great mood when I say hi to the cashier I kind of expect at least an acknowledgement back. Did not get that at Target, and it was aggravating. Now It did not ruin my day, but I’m no longer a Target customer. All I can say just a little customer service is all it takes. So good luck Target with cashiers like Angela.

I like this location for a few resons. First, although it is usually crowded, the parking lot is huge and you can always find a spot. The shelves are well stocked. They do get hit pretty hard on the weekends, but I can still usually walk out with what I came for.
Staff are friendly enough here. Nothing special.
Even withthe store being crowded, checkout is pretty quick!

This is a super target so you can do groceries here as well. It’s a busy target as any other target. Overall, this target customer service is much better than others we’ve been to in Bergen County. Sometimes, they do have good deals but overall Walmart is better in pricing. Depending on seasonal promotions, this target does price match with other retailers. You just have to show them the advertisement. If it’s online, they will only accept their competitors pricing like Walmart or Sears. They don’t price match retailers that are online only.
There’s plenty of parking at this location but because it’s crowded the parking is crazy. I recommend coming here on weekdays and evening hours on weekends.

Target or should I say it the way I pronounce it «Tar-​shay» is definitely a to go store for everything. Clothes although not name brands works well for socks, t-​shirts and even jeans. What I like to call my knockeround clothes.
They have a little food court a pharmacy fresh produce and a great alternative to Oscar Meyer Bacon, their own brand Market Pantry. Try it I promise you will enjoy it…
They are clean down to their bathrooms. I must say it is always a nice experience to shop there. And like a previous person stated you go in with intentions of buying one or two things and walk out with 20 things lol… addicting…

This is «my» Target since it is only a 5 minute drive from home and also centrally located right off Route 3. I am there at least once a week. As expected it is usually very busy. Luckily the parking lot is huge. The store itself is large and spacious. It is usually pretty organized unless it is the holidays when things (and people) can get crazy. My biggest problem with this Target is that it does not have a Starbucks (like the Hackensack Target does). It’s café has improved over the years but would be even better if I could get my Starcrack to go with my shopping.

I seriously would be lost without Target. it’s also a dangerous place for me. Target is the type of place that I could go into with absolutely no intentions of buying anything and walk out with 20 different items. Today I had intentions. I was finishing Christmas shopping and needed to print pictures, buy candy as stocking stuffers, and find a holiday sweater for ugly sweater day at school. I’m not usually a last minute shopper, but this sweater purchase was definitely not planned out. While I didn’t get exactly what I was looking for, they still had an alternative I was okay with getting. I also walked out with a new bathing suit for my approaching trip to Florida (I told you, Target always gets me. The DEALS! I can’t even.)
Anyway, I digress. Point being, Target has it all. If ever I’m in a pinch, it’s usually my go-​to place. Obviously, they don’t always have the best quality items, but you can’t beat the prices and convenience. Targets in general always seem to be packed, so my suggestion would be to have more staff at the registers on a regular basis. Parking is never an issue at this particular location. Also, this time I received my photos in 3 minutes, which was great, but sometimes there isn’t always someone readily available, and I have to track down an employee to get my pictures. They are always friendly and happy to help, but it can take some time before someone is sent to that department.
Thanks Target and Target employees for helping me time and time again. And for making me poor because I can never leave empty-​handed. :)

This store is unreal. Literally every appliance I’ve purchased here does NOT work. Today I purchased a blender and of course it doesn’t work. I go back to the location to process the return (I had paid with my target card that by the way was compromised…)
I was told to «come back tomorrow»? Never shopping here again. Not to mention no one was very helpful to me the other times I’ve been there and asked for assistance. I was told that they «weren’t sure» where the trash bags were recently. Bad service and the quality of the products seem to be poor.

If I didn’t show up here at least twice a week, the Target employees would probably call my emergency contact. I need (not want) to come here that often for toiletries, baby items, bananas, organic milk, paper towels, medicine, the list goes on. I rather come here then the supermarket for these items as they are slightly less expensive. Somehow they figured I was buying lots of baby related products and started sending me a coupon book. This is one marketing program that I don’t mind at all.
Also, this Target has it all — Pharmacy, photo center, optical, grocery section, and a Pizza Hut. Who knew they sell prescription glasses?!
