Got off to a rocky start when they front desk person tried to charge me $ 10 for a crib when no where in the description did it say there was a charge when I booked online. He was nice enough to talk to his boss and then tell me he will not charge me for it. When we came back home from our trip we had to stop by here again for the night and they had everything ready as we requested with extra pillows, a crib and no word of getting charged extra. Same guy checked us in both times. I don’t really know what was up with that but kudos for fixing the problem. The breakfast selection wasn’t great the first time as everything tasted kind of stale but the second time we stayed coming back home they had breakfast burritos and tamales which was pretty yummy, I thought. Still I give them only 3 stars b’c it wasn’t the most well kept hotel. Nothing really felt clean but it’s not like anything was visibly dirty either. There were some stains on the sheets which I just tried to ignore and not think about. Once I «let it go», all was good with the world. Not a totally bad hotel to stay at. You’ll get a good night’s rest and OK breakfast. Easy access to highway.

Great location east of El Paso 5⁄5. Tasty breakfast 4⁄5. Quite and clean 4⁄5. Exercise facility 3⁄5. The staff was friendly with quick check in. Would return if in the area.

Nice hotel, stopped here passing through. Room was really big and clean, AC worked great and the bathroom was clean. Pretty quiet and extremely secure with your vehicle outside. Overall I’d definitely come back and stay at this place again if I was ever in the area.

Service was really nice and I was even thinking to myself how nice the room felt. But then the cracks started to show — towels had stains on them(several towels had this problem) and the thing that really really skeeved me out was finding the plastic covering for the plastic cups sightly torn before I had gotten to them and had an unidentifiable oddly bright red(possibly sticky?) liquid on them. I don’t blame the staff for missing that(the cups looked untampered with); but after those two things(and one lampshade in our room looked like it had gone through some STUFF; it was all torn up and put together again) — the room had a completely different feel. The complementary breakfast was pretty good! There was sausage, eggs, even warm gravy in a crockpot for the sausage, as well as fresh-made waffles. The assortment of juices(orange, apple, even cranbery!) was impressive. The breakfast was good, but I couldn’t get over how questionable I felt the cleanliness of the place was. They get an extra point for having the nice breakfast, as well as the friendly and helpful staff(lady at the front desk I talked to to ask about snow chains tried looking up where I could buy snow chains, which is a very unheard of item in Texas, apparently! lol).

This is a nice established hotel, and this is a great location. I particularly like this place for the price I paid — around $ 80. My one complaint is that they claim to have a «hot» tub. I was excited to get in to it on a cold evening, however I was very dissapointed to find out the temperature is controlled at about 90 degrees F. If you know anything about hot tubs, you know this would be better described as a «luke warm» tub. I talked to the manager about it and they say it is controlled at this temperature. So if you stay here, don’t bother with the«hot» tub. I would stay here again, especially if the price is right.

Big parking lot in back(swing wide!). Great staff, laundry and weight room, free breakfast. Nice view down the hill on one side. A/C and heat worked well, not too noisy despite there being lots of tots running around.
