I recently tried this pizza joint being a bit bored with«our place«. I was really impressed with the Sicilian pizza!!! The sauce has a bit of sweetness. My only complaint and the reason to not get a 5 star is the wait for a delivery(it’s quite long)

Not like most franchises. Pizza is always done perfect, with generous quality toppings. No need to order extra anything. But the taste(sauce and the premium cheese) is what makes it so delicious. And the facilities cleanliness is immaculate, which is very important to me. They do well I believe because it’s owner operated.

Great pizza. There is no shortage of pizza places in this area and Carlo’s is the best tasting of all. Great sauce, always cooked right. Set up for carry out, not a place to hang.

I’m normally a fan of big, stuffed pizzas. However, I’m not partial to Carlo’s Ultimate Chicago Style Stuffed pizza. To me, it seems to be just more crust as opposed to a true stuffed pizza. It can get a little soggy. I do find that it tastes better after being baked in the oven a day later. Anyway, don’t let those remarks stop you from going to Carlo’s. They do have the perfect pie. It is their Sicilian Style Deep Dish pizza. Don’t confuse this with their Deep Dish Square. It is different. This is more of a Detroit style pizza. It is rectangular in shape. It is thicker than a hand tossed pizza, but thinner than their Chicago style pie. Like their other pies, it is not greasy. It has lots of their delicious sauce. The crust is just right; not too crunchy and not too chewy. The toppings are baked under the cheese. It is sprinkled with oregano. It really is delicious. The only thing that could make this pizza better is fresh basil. Hint, hint. Oh, and they sell Good Humor ice-cream treats.

I’ve been eating Carlos Pizza for years. It’s really good every time. I would recommend the Chicago Deep Dish. Delish!

I ordered a large 1 topping thin crust pizza and used a coupon off their website to get it for $ 9.49. I ended up getting it delivered for a couple extra bucks, and even though they quoted me 45 minutes I had it in 25! Now, most people will tell you that the deep dish is apparently«the thing» to order, but I was admittedly sick of the overabundance of crust and wanted something thinner. The sauce was a little on the sweeter side, but it was still pleasant, the cheese was broiled to perfection, and the crust, while not super crispy, was delicious. Overall this was a great pizza, but I do take issue with the fact that they use canned mushrooms. Just use the fresh ones, please!

I tried this place for the first time tonight. Ordered the appetizer wedges, okay, but nothing that great for the price… the stuffed sticks which were very good. I ordered the Chicago style deep dish pizza, without a doubt a good pizza just a little soggy in places. Overall a good experience.

Absolutely LOVE this place! The pizza and subs are consistently delicious & are always served piping hot and fresh. No matter what kind of weird special request you might make, they always get it right. In the 10 years I’ve been ordering from them they’ve never once made a mistake with my order. The staff is really friendly and efficient, and even their delivery people are professional and nice. Don’t just go there for the pizza — the chicken dinner is delicious, and so is the lasagna! I’ve tried pretty much every item on their menu at least once and have enjoyed everything. They recently updated their menu and added even MORE great stuff. If you’re looking for a great, decently priced pizza(done right!) then you really need to hit Carlos!

If you are from Michigan, you might be just like me… I LOVE my Jet’s Pizza and I have a secret love affair with Hungry Howie’s(it’s the crust…) This past year I have discovered a pizza place that gave Jet’s and that tasty square pizza, a run for it’s money. Carlo’s Pizza is all I order now. Think Jet’s square pizza, but you can get flavored crust., Great Quality, good prices. always lots of coupons, and delivery is about average. I noticed two other locations both on the east side as well. My guess is Jet’s better watch out. Carlos Pizza is coming for you! :-)
