Lots of inventory but it doesn’t help when you can’t purchase any of it. The hours say they open at 12 and it’s past noon and they aren’t open.

I stumbled upon JR in a search for back issues, and initially didn’t have much hope for the place. Though I heard it sold comics, the amount of Yu-Gi-Oh! signs in the windows were off-putting. Still, I went in and I’m glad I did. They have so much packed into this place it’s unbelievable. I remember racks and rows tall enough that you’d need a ladder to get to the tops of them! And these were back issues my friends, not Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! I saw a couple things on racks that I liked — a book done by Pullman, for example. My favorite find though was definitely the entire series of Sandman — Welcome to the Dollhouse for $ 1 a book! I’d suggest JR sportscards to anyone who’s into comic back issues. Though JR is a card shop per se, they stock just as much, if not more comics than they do cards. It seems that the cards are there to make sure the business doesn’t fail… and that’s fine by me. They’re not failing at all!
