The only thing I can say, Grand Master Paz! He is a true athlete with multiple black belts in many martial arts and is true grand master inducted in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He has 4 accomplished professional MMA fighters. He produces true champions and really cares about his students. He creates a great atmosphere for learning and is welcoming to anyone regardless of race, color, creed or economic background. If they want to learn than Naama Karate is the place to do so!

NAAMA Karate is now called Ultimate Martial Arts to reflect a wider range of classes and instructors. I’ve been training at NAAMA for about a year now. The sheer amount of knowledge and experience amongst the instructors is practically overwhelming. I’ve worked mostly with the grappling instructors, but the instructors in the striking based arts are top notch as well. Their judo, sambo, and jujitsu instructors, though, are where they shine. Steve Lafrate, Brian Pazdzierz, and Harley Wallen have something like 80 years of gi and no gi grappling experience between them, and it shows. Students of NAAMA are starting to make waves in MMA, and sometimes champions like Tony Hervey(from Warren, MI) stop by to train. If you are considering some form of martial arts as part of your fitness routine, i recommend trying out Ultimate Martial Arts(aka NAAMA).
