This place is huge! Furniture is great, they have mattresses that are new, plenty of clothes. A variety of great quality items. Lots of staff to help with your shopping, unique jewelry and accessories

This store is so much bigger then the old one they had. I’m happy they have so much more than any of the other ones around. Always cheap prices in random things I buy from here.

The Thrifty Acres That is Actually Thrifty! Ya know, the ‘dumpster diver’ stores are all over the place and you really, I mean REALLY have to hunt around to find anything in A: Your Size B: Right Colors C: Not Torn Up. This place seems to understand that if you have Aisles and Aisles of EVERYTHING then you will overcome all of those factors, and they are right! This is literally the only store like this that I can go to with an item in mind and walk out with what I was looking for. I bought an office chair here. I bought a suit here. I bought shirts and pants here. Now mind you that the Men’s section is MINISCULE compared to the Women’s section, which you could get lost in(keep your kids close or there WILL be a shoe fight in aisle 4). Toys, Books, Knick-Knacks, TV’s, the list goes on forever and everything is dirt cheap. Staff is cool. Overworked, but cool. A great business with a great cause. Come in and explore!

The store itself is not the most beautiful thing to behold, but I’m a fan of the treasures within. Prices are reasonable, weekly half-price and 5 for 5 sales make them even better! Thursday is student discount day which gets me 25% off of everything that’s not a sale item, and is not limited to clothing and accessories like the sales are. The parking lot is very long and thin so sometimes you have to park a ways away, but at least now I CAN park(I often had to circle the lot until someone left at the former location farther north on Gratiot). The employees are usually nice enough but not always very personable. All in all, not my favorite SA location, but the one I frequent the most because it’s the closest to home.

This must be the greatest Salvation Army story of all times. The merchandise is clean and orderly(organized by color). The hangers even all face the right way. Not only are there weekly half-off specials — depending on the color of the price tag — but there also are weekend deals that can’t be beat.
