Trinity Lutheran Church

As in years past, they are having a Parish Pizza Pumpkin Picnic this afternoon for the community. This is always a hit with the kiddies — free food, games, well, you know, all the festival stuff that usually takes place at a Fall get together. A large tent ensures that no matter what the weather conditions, this event will take place. Did I mention free? Yep, completely free to all who attend.
The church and school combination has continued to serve the community since the turn of the last century, and although it might sound like the buildings are perhaps outdated, to the contrary, the church is modern and up-​to-​date, with beautiful stained glass windows and a pipe organ that is one of the larger ones in the region.
The school is smaller than many of the local elementary schools, but the students receive some of the best training and education in the State of Michigan. Every testing system ever used to evaluate the student’s progress has consistently scored them in the upper echelon of elementary education. Attached to the school is an Early Childhood Center which continues to receive awards year after year.
