Oh boy, it had been a long time since I had been to a Tubby’s Submarines. I ordered a favorite of mine from many years ago, a pizza steak and cheese sub. It sure wasn’t the way I remembered it to be. It didn’t have as much meat as I thought it would have or what I remembered it having. I tasted a lot of bun, lettuce, tomato, and their sauce. After eating, I was still hungry and that’s usually not the case with me.

I am very satisfied with this Tubbys business on the east side of Garfield rd. It is very clean inside. Plenty of space to sit and a comfortable waiting area. The food is delicious and has excellent staff. This is by far the best Tubby’s I have ever been to. What I love most about this place is the Drive Thru! They are extremely polite and fast when you order from your car. I give this a 5 star because this is probably the best and most evolved Tubby’s I have ever been to.

What the hell happen to tubbys!?? They put so little meat on the subs its a joke. The sub is essentially just bread and some mushy veggies, and then they have the gull to charge 10 $ for a large sub! Tubbys get your shit together, stop skimping people! And you wonder why tubbys are doing so bad.

Had a sub their today, and I’ll admit it was darn good and customer service was excellent, I’ll give them a star bump on this one, it is a well managed store.

Driving down restaurant row on Garfield between 18 & Canal, there are multiple choices.
Fortunately TUBBYS had a $ 5 special listed on there marquee .
I’ve been a fan of TUBBYS since store #1 on Harper & 13 mile since 1976.
The Tubbys Famous for $ 5 is a solid deal & meal.
Ordered it at the drive thru & a smiling gal had it ready in mere moments, she also wrapped & cut it into halves so I could save ½ for dinner!
