This place is a joke. I purchased lessons for my boyfriend and after several unanswered emails and calls we asked for our money back. Surprised Groupon keeps these losers on their website.

Can I give zero stars? I had bought a groupon deal for my husband. He tried getting in touch with them but the phone number had been disconnected, so he sent an email. Six emails and two weeks later he tells me what’s going on, so I contacted groupon to see if maybe they could intervene. After a few emails back and forth with groupon I decided I just wanted my money back. I had seen other Unilocalers say that even once they got in contact with someone, no one would show up for their scheduled flight. It’s a shame. If you want to fly try freeway aviation in Bowie.

All these posts were very similar to my experience. Here’s what happen to me:
You can NEVER reach these people by phone and even emails are difficult. You know when companies leave excuses on their voice mail and web site as to why they are not easy to reach, it’s for a reason. I had a confirmed flight lesson time 3 weeks in advance and even verified the lesson over a week out and they were a NO SHOW with no call. The helicopter pilots in the joining building said I wasn’t the first customer it had happened to. I even told the guy I was scheduling my business travel around this lesson. My next contact will be the better business bureau. I left voice mails on two numbers and sent an email when they no-​showed. Demanding a refund. DO NOT BOOK with this company… they are very unprofessional.

Took me over a year to finally get in the plane after paying for my flight lesson. Weekends are usually booked two weeks out and they wouldn’t make appointments farther out than that. During the week, if the weather was bad, then the office would be closed and there would be no one available to answer your call; however, if the weather was good then they may be giving flight lessons … and no one may be available to answer your call. Drove an hour for a flight lesson one day and they were closed (for a reason I was unaware of) and no one called to notify me (and the weather was excellent that day so I don’t think it was weather related). In short: I would not do business with these people anymore or recommend them to anyone.

This place is a joke. It took me weeks to get through to them to schedule an appointment after I purchased their groupon. After calling and calling and never getting through, I sent an e-​mail threatening to cancel my Groupon and finally got a response. Then, when I showed up for my lesson, my instructor never showed up. Don’t waste your time or money with ATC.

I’ve been trying to contact them for several weeks now and nobody picks up the phone, responds to voice messages, or replies to emails. Impossible to contact, not happy so far.

Unprofessional!
Messed up scheduling twice within 2 days. The office does not open on time and the instructors are all part timers with other priorities.

We had a wonderful experience with ATC! Manny was extremely helpful from the time I called to make the appt up the the would flight experience! He was kind, friendly & informative. Their offices are clean, cool & well kept & the staff was also kind & helpful.
I want to personally thank Manny for his patience in waiting for our arrival & his welcoming affable nature. Josh had a wonderful time & my heart was in somersaults to have him so pleased!
