After stumbling upon this place on a hunt to find some fresh seafood for a Sunday Funday, I am completely in love! Captain Peter’s Seafood is a great little spot with a wide selection of fresh seafood to suit any of your cravings. My favorites are the crab legs and shrimp, which they steam for you if you want, and they are perfection! They season them with their house seasoning and also give you lots of butter to take home with you. All you need to do after that is rush home to start cracking and dipping. They also have this new «crab sauce» which I tried recently thinking it would be a hit or miss; well it was a HIT all the way! It is very creamy, flavorful, and has a little kick in each bite that is so addicting. Mmmm, & yup, just from that sentence, my mouth just started to water. Ugh! Anyways, like I said, they have a great selection to choose from; fish, crab cakes, crab legs, scallops, whole crabs, shrimp, WHATEVER! The woman behind the counter, who takes your order, now let me tell you, she is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen. She is sooooo sweet and is great with trying to help you make your decision when you are overwhelmed by all of the options. The price is kind of high but it is well worth it. I mean you have to pay for quality right? All in all, I am a forever customer from this day forward. Great job guys!

We got lrg male crabs and they were delicious. I wanted females but asked were they heavy, the owner told me not so much but the males were and he was right…

Went their yesterday with my family. We got seafood platter, a dozen crabs and 1soft shell crab to try. They are a bit pricey but not as bad a other places I’ve seen close by. The crabs were nice size for the large delicious and very meaty. I was very surprised. The fried soft crab was great too. We definitely will go back!
It was a little bit of a wait but then I saw a sign inside that says «Please be patient. Good food takes time» I laughed. It was good too.

One of the best seafood restaurants around. Their fish great and their crabs are fresh. Definitely going back!

I recently ordered some steamed jumbo shrimp, fried whiting and hush puppies. It was my first time there and everything was really good. The shrimp were fresh and good but a couple were over cooked. Other than that I will return :)

Great seafood! Loved the oysters but the crab cakes are only ok. You get a good amount for the price. The food is also very fresh and made to order.

Don’t waste your hard earned money here. This place has horrible over priced food. I ordered the family platter it came wit some 3 pieces of fish some oysters shrimp and these things they call crab sticks. Everything tasted bad it didn’t have any flavor. I’m a New Orleans native so trust me I know what good seafood taste like!!!

The crabs are the best I’ve tasted in this area. They are meaty with a great taste. They are pricey side though, but it beats getting wharf crabs.
