Chopstick Buffet

Visited this buffet last night for to-​go. I guess I was shocked that you could get a to-​go plate from the buffet. When we walked in my «friend», asked for two plates to-​go for the both of us. The cashier handed us our plates and we walked towards the buffet. Very shocked I was I was kinda of hesitant to scoop up food into my plate. Me thinking there is a limit of how much food you can put on your plate. When I saw they had sushi, I quickly ran over to that area and placed 4 sushi rolls on my plate. When I later turned around I was approached by the female waiter. She told me, I have remove my sushi rolls from my plate and put them on another smaller plate. That the sushi is an extra 50 cent which I wish the cashier told us before we went wild at the buffet. After that little incidence I wrapped up my plate and headed for the cashier. At the cashier, he had us place our plates on a large scale just the plates not the sushi. Our plates together weighed approx. 15lbs. Which calculated our price to be $ 19 plus tax & the sushi. The food was good and we both enjoyed ourselves. Usually when I come down I eat at Chopsticks restaurant not buffet. The sushi rolls tasted very fresh without the wasabi, soy sauce, and ginger. The sushi with the fish in top tasted like fish oil it wasn’t that good. The rest of the buffet food was great.

This is on of the best Chinese buffet I have found in the Jackson metro area. Nice family atmosphere and good food. LOTS of choices, even for kids.

I was craving wantons and this hit the spot. There aren’t many options in Clinton, MS for Chinese food and I do love a good buffet. The price was reasonable, the service was fine. nothing that stood out good or bad. Just a basic Chinese buffet.
