Well, our Christmas tree turned out to be crooked. Apparently, it was planted on a hill at an angle. After an hour of mess-​making and struggling, we finally gave up for the night; the next morning, we tried again to no avail and finally put the tree out back. We then drove to Home Depot and purchased a new tree (for less), and it took us 10 minutes to set it up. The farm experience was pleasant, but i think we’ll stick with the professionals from now on.

SO, what are you waiting for? stop buying trees from some traveling salesman on the side of the road and go here for an authentic New England experience. There’s a barn, a swing on a tree, a long path to the christmas trees and lot’s of beautiful trees. The tree tagging party is always the sunday after Thanksgiving and there is hot chocolate & ham. They sell christmas wreaths too! Beautiful ones with laurel, holly berries, christmas tree greens, those blue berries that look like juniper berries– you name it. The farm boasts blue spruce, white spruce and douglas fir. They used to have frasier fir but the deer would eat them all– so no more frasier fir.
Go there anytime 9−4pm. Find a Tree. Cut it down yourself. Impress your family with your rustic skills.
