Great local pizza joint. Quick delivery, too. Get the 2fer deal and you can’t go wrong!

Didn’t have anything but the pizza, but it was excellent. Crust was a medium thickness, great texture, just salty enough. Tomato sauce was not too sweet. The pricing(two pizzas at a bargain price) was the icing on the cake. The sad thing is that we stopped by on a day trip; it’s about 25 miles from home so I foresee myself pining away for this without an easy way to get it regularly. Definitely worth a stop if you’re driving through on US-12!

It was a cold, blustery Wednesday… My husband and I drove from Ann Arbor to Brooklyn to see some friends– who ordered 2 pizzas from Hometown Pizza upon our arrival. OHMYGOODNESS, this pizza is my new Michigan JAM! The pizza is on the doughy side– which is so soft and decadent! The toppings are fresh and tasty, and I love their crust. That’s right, the crust isn’t too dry or flavorless– its DELICIOUS! Big thanks to my friend Phil & Jen for introducing me to my new pizza love. PS, It was close to being a pretty bad snowstorm outside– so i also owe a big thanks to the delivery guy who got out to the house in that mess!

Oh my god… PIZZA(in the form of a calzone) has never been so sweet. I love you my Hometown Pizza, LOVE. I can’t get enough of those calzones — oh, the cheese and butter on the top, with the perfect amount of bread, and inside ingredients. I always get the Italian, or steak and cheese… I am in agony every time I have to decide which one to get. I have lived in big cities, medium-sized cities, traveled several cities throughout the world, and have yet to find a better calzone. The pizza — it’s pretty damn good too, but there’s nothing better than that sweet and succulent calzone. If only I could have it delivered in Portland. Well hell, if it were within a drivable distance, I’d be driving this very instant to get me one.
