The family and I have gone for the ‘pumpkin patch’ the last 3 years(we don’t get live Christmas trees). Great pumpkin selection, reasonable prices. Wish they had a few more food vendors due to family food allergies. Definitely enjoy going and making great family memories.

My parents took us to Hozak’s last week for the fall festival. Fun stuff! Entrance and parking were free, which is awesome, but some activities inside the complex do require you to cough up a few bucks. No worries though, there’s a nice variety of free activities as well. So what is there to do? I recall the following: * live music * face painting * pumpkin painting * pumpkin carving * goat obstacle course * animals to pet * pony rides * hay rides * fence maze * shopping * food and beverage stands And more, I’m sure. I very much enjoyed shopping in the central building. The ground level has all the cute crafty fall stuff as well as a respectable selection of area sports merchandise.(Let’s get it together this season, Steelers!) Up the stairs are lots of Christmas decorations. The basement level, full of antique-y goods, was surprisingly my favorite. Most things are really affordable too, for real. Food and beverages, like Honors System coffee for a quarter and 50¢ hot chocolate and 75¢ apple cider(in case you didn’t wear warm enough clothes), are available in the building as well. Glad we visited Hozak’s. Autumn/Halloween isn’t quite complete without experiencing some sort of festival, parade, pumpkin patch, etc. Hozak’s was a really good choice. Happy Halloween!

Hozak’s is a must starting at the end of September through Christmas… Their harvest and Halloween festivities are family friendly, honest, and fun for everyone. There isn’t a charge to ride the hay wagon out to the pumpkin patch nor to do the corn maze or play in the general area of the shop. Face painting is $ 1 and the ride on the haunted trail is $ 1 or 2 a person.(as of 2012). They have a shop that has 3 floors of gifts, ornaments, and decorations. There is even a snack bar with coffee, hot coco, apple juice/cider and popcorn. We have been going there for over 10 years and have enjoyed bringing friends and family to spend the afternoon. It does get busy during the afternoon hours of Saturday and Sunday … but it is a wonderful stress free day. They also have the best cut-your-own Christmas Trees…

Hozak is the best place to buy a fresh Christmas tree. Everyone is very helpful and nice. We are coming back every year!

Great time! The hayride is a nice touch, and there were a ton of really nice looking trees to choose from. Even though it was busy, they were quick and efficient to ‘de-needle’ and tie up trees. Very friendly. We’ll be back.

Hozak’s is as good as it gets. Their Pumpkin Patch is a must every year. We love to get our pumpkins, check out the little store, ride the ponies, ride the haunted hay ride, and get our grub on with the funnel cakes and kettle corn. I have been bringing my girls, 8 and 10, to the Pumpkin Patch at Hozak’s for years. It is just thoroughly enjoyable for kids of all ages, even the tiny ones. For Christmas, you can’t beat Hozak’s for cutting down your tree. You can cut down your tree or pick from a tree that has been cut already. The staff are always helpful and will help you get your tree(huge in my case) on your car.

Life is all about experiences. Hozak’s is a great place to go to CYO(cut your own) Xmas Tree. Take the kids, take your parents, take your grandparents. Fun to get on the trailer behind the tractor, go to the field, debut and debut and debut which tree is the best, cut it down and take it home to decorate. Great pine scent in the house. It does get crowded on weekends so go early. They will help you tie it to the roof of your car if you need help. Great group of kids helping out. There is a barn with free hot chocolate if you buy a tree, some hot dogs and lots and lots of craft items to buy, too. Wear old shoes or boots, can get a little muddy.
