Ink Wizards Tatoo

Me and my daughter have gotten piercings here. They Are WONDERFUL AND clean. I plan on getting more and will come back here.

My friend and I visited Ink Wizards exactly one week ago. We went at a good time because a wave of people came after us. I’m not sure the name of the guy who greeted us but he was very nice. My friend and I were there to get two piercings each. After filling out paper work we were taken back by Mike. He was very nice, personable and funny. He made our experience painless and enjoyable. He even removed the ring from my rook that I wanted to get rid of. I would most definitely recommend the shop. The shop was very clean and neat. The location is very convenient and the prices were great. I even want to go back to explore tattoo options. Thank you Mike! I will be back.

I have been coming here for, well since I first delved into the tattoo world. I got my first, second and so many other tatoos here. I have also been pierced here as well. Honestly, this is the only place clean enough for my liking. The idea of a dirty tattoo shop and piercings just gives me vivid images of green and yellow puss! Yuckkkkk!
Anyway, I have been really wanting to get a piercing, lately. I have, since becoming a mom, been left with only ear piercings. Boring. So I decided to try my luck with the hood, again.
I usually get pierced by Mike. But he does not work on Tuesdays. So I was greeted and serviced by Sarah. She’s awesome!!! I told her what I wanted, she gave me the paperwork and started to set up after payment was collected. She made me feel really comfortable, as well. She talked to me throughout the process, which was cool. Afterwards, she went over proper after-​care instructions, although I told her I already knew the deal. That was very professional. I am an advocate for the «…and if you have any questions…» and she definitely mentioned that. She also let me know what days she worked as opposed to the days Mike was available.
Very good experience! Ink Wizards will continue to get a two thumbs up from me! They’re just always on top of their game. I’d rather pay an arm and a leg here, than a finger at another place!

Mike, the Piercer is absolutely fantastic. My friend and I recently visited the shop and got the hood and the Christina piercing! Both are nicely positioned. Mike took such good care of us; he made us feel very comfortable and at ease. The pricing is extremely reasonable and the environment is very clean! I recommend Ink Wizard Tattoo to anyone looking for a GREAT piercing shop in the DMV. Thanks Mike! Looking forward to my next visit.

Came here twice for piercings and both times had a great experience. The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly and professional.

I’ll try not to make this lengthy but this place is amazing. I got a tattoo in 2010 with my mom, my tat was done by Russ and when I tell you it looks newer than my tattoos from 2011 – 2013 I’m not kidding.
Mike has done all of my piercings (tragus, rook, nose and a couple of others) and nothing has ever gone wrong.
Very clean, very professional, very helpful.

Been to Wizard Ink Tattoo Inc for a piercing and was happy about my choice on coming here. They are clean (a must for me) and not over friendly but they are very welcoming. They sell after care for the piercing and tell you how to take care of your piercing. I will always recommend this shop for piercings.

Been here on several occasions… Tattoos piercing… u name it… Doug always does my tats this place is clean and their well priced. They aren’t overly friendly but very nice and make sure u know how to keep ur new body distraction from getting infected… There also not really gonna tell u ‘hey u should get this… In this part of ur body’ its ur body u gotta kno what u want and where… So as long as u got ur mind made up ur good to go!!! :) Happy Tattooing!!!

I’ve been dealing with Russ for over 7 years. He has done a lot of my work. He is friendly and will work with you, with what ever you are planning on getting. I highly recommend him, excellent artist. Byron K does not know what he’s talking about. I’m pretty sure Russ got upset because of your constant nagging him while he’s working. Ink Wizard is a great tattoo shop if you are looking to get work done. Some appointments run long because of how detailed the work can be. Love Russ!!!

First, let me start by saying this review is based solely on customer service. Based on my recent experience with Russ, I would not give them my business. MY APOLOGIES FOR THE LENGTH BUT I FELT IT WAS IMPORTANT TO BE AS DETAILED AND HONEST AS POSSIBLE…
Recently, my wife and I decided to get tattoos and we got a reference for Russ at Ink Wizard Tattoo located in Clinton MD. He came highly recommended from my daughter and her friend. I called last Thursday (October 27^th, 2011) and he was off work so I followed up on Friday. The young lady at the front while just doing her job seems as if she is protecting them from the public until you walk into the shop for an appointment. When I called she kept telling me I could just come in and talk to an artist but that’s not enough for me. Also, when I called she continuously asked what I wanted and kept telling me to come in versus allowing me to speak to Russ. I did eventually speak with him over the phone after her initial interview. I briefly described how I was referred to him and what I wanted to get done. He stated I should come in and see him. I wanted to set an appointment because I did not want to come in and he was busy. I have a cover up of an old tattoo I got when I was 17 and I knew it would take at least 15 – 30 minutes to share my ideas, get his professional opinion, and for him to sketch out something as well. My wife also has a rough sketch that we know will need to be touched up for what she wants done so we both expected it to take some time for the consultations. We were told to come in and they do not do schedule consultations.
I come in on Sunday (October 30^th) and of course he is busy working on a tattoo. Despite them telling me they don’t schedule consultations, I was upset because I wasted my time. I proceeded to explain that I had called last week twice and I was frustrated because I had driven over. She offered to take a picture of what I wanted to get done to him to see if he can do it. Maybe it’s me, but her taking a picture back to him without seeing what needs to be covered on my arm is not helping me.
When she goes back and speaks with him he raises his voice and says, «They can leave or wait. If they wait it will be 45 minutes until I am done, but whatever they do is not my problem». WOW! We were speechless! I have never been insulted like that by someone I am trying to give my business to in my 34 years. I think it took about 2 hours for us to get over the whole thing. He made sure we heard him and how he did not give two flips about our business.
While I don’t claim to know everything, I do know that is not how you handle business. I disagree with the refusal to schedule appointments simply because I think it has to be a way to serve walk-​ins and appointments whether for a consult or tattoo job efficiently. There is no way I would go back to this establishment based on Russ and his lack respect. He is good based on the work I saw, but there are so many artists that can do what he does just as well and/​or better. In addition, they are a bit pricey compared to some other shops in the area with talented artists and a clean environment. He charged my daughter $ 80 for one word on her arm written. I would not recommend them based on poor customer service and the many other artists in the local area that can provide the same service.
