I’m always a bit perplexed by this Kmart location. It went from being a Kmart, to being a Sears Essentials, back to being a Kmart again. You would think with all of that change over it would be a good store where you could find everything you needed, with friendly staff and decent management… but it doesn’t seem to be. At least not in my opinion. The last three times I’ve been, the lines are either ridiculously long because the registers aren’t working, or they’re short staffed or some other issue. Sometimes I walk in and an entire shelf is empty. Yesterday there were barely any socks in the men’s sock section, which is a shame because they actually had the best prices in the area. I needed a lot for a service event, but alas — I left the store sockless :(

Overall, I like the Kmart, in Clinton, Md. It’s clean, well-lit, ample parking and a decent selection of merchandise. The bonus: it’s not crowded, usually. I also like the store pick-up feature. I feel like I’m still getting great deals here, as I did 20 years ago, with my first child! I will continue to patronize.

This Kmart is ghetto. I talked to the guy named Antonio in electronics, i was supposed to get this Tv, anyways he held it for me and i came to the store the next day right when they opened at 8am and they told me the Tv was $ 300+ when they were advertising it for $ 249.99. They said i missed the sale but per customer service reasons, you would think they will still honored it since i traveled all the way there to buy it, plus it was there last one in stock!!!

I called Kmart to ask a question about a product. The customer service rep that answer the phone put me on hold and did not come back to the phone for over 11 minutes. Considering I don’t normally shop at Kmart, I saw something I liked, and begin the process of giving them business… But a first impression is a lasting impression. Apparently my money and I weren’t good enough to get a simple answer before I went to their store, so it lets me know there’s no point of me actually going to Kmart! I’ll keep my money and spend it elsewhere.

This is a nice neighborhood store with a good selection of everyday items you might need at any time. the store is clean and well-lit, and the cashiers/staffers are knowledgeable and helpful concerning their products. I have found some real bargain prices on nice quality merchandise. I especially like the shop on line-pick up in the store feature that many Sears-branded stores use. Here, the access is easy and the store is not usually too crowded. I prefer this store over the other stores nearby.

I prefer Kmart to Walmart because they always have mark downs/clearance items. They store is never crowded like Walmart so you’re usually in an out. Recently I was overcharged for an item but was resolved quickly returning to the store and getting it credited back to my card. I also like that I get points for spending money there unlike at walmart that I can use towards future purchases.

Surprisingly better than the Walmart across the way. I found a cheap ass hair dryer on clearance for $ 8 marked down from $ 25, and I found some decent clothes marked down to $ 6. What lowered this score for me was the straight up ghetto woman at the register I was at. The woman in front of me was taking so long to put in her debit card information that girlfriend at the register felt like taking a snack break and started eating her Pringles right in front of me. That ain’t right. Needless to say, will only go here in an emergency when I’m feeling too lazy to head to Target in Brandywine and don’t feel like dealing with the hot messes at the Walmart.
