Mirror Images

This salon has just been amazing! I went the first time about a year ago to get a cut fixed that the woman in another place absolutely butchered. Denise took care of me and made me look like a human being again.
I recently went to Sam to get a badly needed trim and shaping. I’m trying to grow out a formerly very short bob. She consulted with me on my long-​term hair goals and shaped the cut so that it will eventually get there as soon as possible. I LOVED the cut and the way my hair lays now.
The prices are more than reasonable and they even accept walk-​ins! For the quality of the talent, to accept walk-​ins is a HUGE advantage for their clients. I would suggest making an appointment if you can because of how popular they are, but if you need something last minute they are super accommodating.
Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!

My experience with hair salons has been somewhat of a mixed bag and I have found that with salons you cannot judge a book by it’s cover. Some very high-​end salons have been extremely disappointing and the opposite has also been true. In my opinion, any salon is only as good as the people it employs, so when I find someone who is especially good, I am very loyal.
That is the case with Mirror Images in Clinton. Like Rebecc T. (another reviewer here who I do not know) I found Mirror Images by following Joanna from her previous salon (which was right around the corner from my house) to here, so it’s fair to say this is more a review of Joanna than Mirror Images, although I do like Mirror Images and the people there.
As I said, I met Joanna at her previous salon. The day I got randomly paired with her gave a whole new meaning to «good hair day.» I have very difficult hair to work with. I have many cowlicks, some in very unfortunate places. I trust Joanna with my hair completely and in fact my whole family now sees her. A good haircut to me is one I can work with everyday and not have to spend a lot of time fussing over. For that, I would pay (and have paid) considerably more than they charge at Mirror Images.
Additionally, I color my hair (actually Joanna does that too, I pretty much just sit there like a slug). There are only two brands of professional hair color I’ve found have the longest gray coverage and one of those is Goldwell, which they use at Mirror Images. (The other is Framesi which I have a hard time finding).

I am so excited that Joanna recently moved to Mirror Images. When I moved to the Hunterdon County area several years ago, I tried out a few salons in the local area but was not pleased with my hair. Then I found Joanna working in Bernardsville and for years made the monthly trek for fabulous hair. My cut and color always turn out great so I would follow her anywhere but definitely think that she is an asset to Mirror Images and the area.

I’m new to this salon and I love it! I just followed my stylist, Joanna, here from her former salon in Bernardsville. She is very talented and does a great job coloring and cutting my sometimes challenging hair. I can’t count the number of compliments I receive on my hair. Go see Joanna — you’ll be very glad you did! :)

Love this place. I was having a terrible time finding a hair cutter in the area and then stumbled upon this place. Jen is really talented and the prices are really reasonable.

Mirror Images is great! The cuts are always precise and coloring and perms are superb. I go out of my way to see them!
