Sawyer Brook Distinctive Fabrics

This place was pretty great. It was located in an old mill building along with many other stores (mainly dealing with antiques). Yes, they have much of their fabrics online, but it’s so much nicer to come there in person (if you don’t mind the 1hr drive from Boston) because they have sales (very good ones at that). The fabric that they carry is amazing, great quality (though a bit pricey). Most of it comes from NYC designers last season remnants. The people are really nice, they leave you alone while you look and answer any questions that you may have if you do ask. Also, they try to give you as many discounts as they can on a piece (even if it’s already on sale!). Fabric turnover is 3 weeks, so sales are frequent and the fabric ACTUALLY changes, not just its location. Only wish is that this place was closer to Boston.
