This place gets two stars because it’s reasonably priced and the inside(minus the bathrooms) looks great. The outside looks like crap. The kicker here is this place is not run like a business should be run. You have to email them multiple times, call multiple times… and then when you finally get in contact with someone they all know different things. There is a fee involved with paying your deposit, a fee for the banking service they use which is unbelievably outdated. Who does that? Most businesses cover that cost for you. You have to pay a security deposit… which regardless of how clean you get the place, they will automatically deduct a hundred dollars from when they finally decide to return it to you. I really want to just give the owner of this place tips on how to run a business, cause this is not it. She gives off a nice vibe but if it wasn’t for how cheap this place was, I would not have booked. Kristy, if you read this… please upgrade the way you conduct your business and the outside appearance of your place. Responding to emails, payment processing, and contracts are vital to the success of a business. Please at the very least… GETYOURDOORHANDLEFIXED. On top of all of this, the helper/cleaner guy kept walking around during our event. Unprofessional. To me, this place isn’t run run like a legit business. I will never book this place again. However, if you just need a reasonable place to host an event, this is the place for you.

Overall, I’ll rate The Clinton Center at 4 stars. I visited The Clinton Center for the first time on Sunday, October 21, 2012 after meeting the owner, Kristy, on LinkedIn. After seeing the photos of her dishes and reading the Sunday Brunch menu, I just had to see for myself. Well, I was not disappointed. The food was really good and tasty. I loved the shrimp and grits, whiting, and greens the most. They had a carving, waffle, and omelet stations. The fried chicken was also extremely tasty. Oh, and the peach cobbler… mmm mmm good. I would have loved a scoop of butter pecan ice cream to go with it. I did not feel the need to add season to any of my food. My friend and I traveled from FedEx Field(GOSKINS) to The Clinton Center, and it was worth the trip. At first glance of the outdoors, I probably would not have come in. But once inside, it was nice, the ladies room was extremely clean, and the SERVICE was amazing. The staff was friendly, they introduced themselves and engaged in small talk with us. Our glasses remained full and requests were handled promptly. I am a very picky eater, but I love food. My least favorite dishes were the omelet — i prefer egg white; and the mac and cheese — I didn’t care for the mixture of cheese and cheese sauce. I reserved the 1 star for their outdoor appearance. It’s not very appealing. But, I believe within a few months or so, they will greatly improve on it. Otherwise, everything else was really really good.

Went back to The Clinton Center for their Dedication and Blessing. The music by Remnant and Martina Green was WONDERFUL, and even though I arrived late, they still provided an awesome meal. The front of the facility has been upgraded, so it is now worthy of 5 stars for all around excellence! The Clinton Center has arrived!!!
