I usually don’t bake my own desserts for the holidays, since I’m super busy with everything else. In the past I have ordered my desserts and treats from Desserts by Gerard’s in Oxon Hill for Thanksgiving and other events. Although they are quite talented, I don’t particularly enjoy the taste, as I’ve felt the desserts were more for visual speculation than actual flavor. I was searching for another company to help cater my holiday event when I stumbled across Tiffany’s Bakery. They have good reviews and a detailed website so I stopped by and placed an order for a customized Yellow Cake with Buttercream frosting, Sweet Potato and Apple Crumb Pies. The venue is small in the front waiting area, but the shop is nicely accented with the bakery’s products and offerings. I placed my order and although a bit expensive, I was very hopeful that the desserts would turn out and taste great. When I picked up my items a week later the venue was quite busy(as to be expected the day before a major holiday), but I was out the door w/my goodies in about 15 minutes. The four stars derive from the fact that I was initially given one total, but was later informed that they made a mistake on the price, which ended up being higher than originally quoted. Sooooooo my guests totally enjoyed all the desserts!!! I tried both the Sweet Potato Pie and the Yellow Cake… both were simply amazing! I’m not normally a dessert eater, but LAWD I have never had Yellow Cake so moist and full of flavor. It was so delicious with that buttery, homemade taste. Perfect! Sorry to the other bakeries because this is now my go-to spot. One can tell quality products and Tiffany’s Bakery definitely doesn’t skimp around. A++++ and highly recommend.

Been coming here since I can remember. Well, not at this specific location but when they were at Iverson Mall back in the 90’s. I’ve always enjoyed their cakes and will continue to give them my business.

Never disappointed with this bakery. I have gotten multiple cakes from them and have been pleased with every single one. They are decorated beautifully and taste phenomenal. The latest one for my daughter’s 4th birthday literally took the cake(pun intended). Well worth $ 85 and I will gladly pay more for them to do an even more elaborate cake for her 5th birthday. Please enjoy my photos and order your bakery items from them whenever the occasion comes.

Tiffany’s cakes are delicious! I order all my cakes from this bakery — even though i moved from the area. As a baker, I know they use the best ingredients and the cakes always taste fresh and moist. Yummy!

For Thanksgiving, I ordered the lemon coconut buttermilk pie after reading a Washington Post article that listed this bakery. I had never heard of this type of pie before so curiosity made me try it. It was excellent! It cost a few dollars more than their other pies but it was worth it. I called and placed my order and was given an order number. When it was my turn in the short line, I told them my order number and got my pie. My Thanksgiving Day pick up time, which I selected, was noon. It took me about 15 minutes to get my order. NOTE: You can set up an on line account and place an order also. The parking lot is not large. So if there are a lot of pick up, that could be a potential bottleneck. However, when I went at noon, the parking spaces were turning over rather quickly. My #1 bakery is «Desserts by Gerard» in Oxon Hill. I have to taste some other sweets before this bakery can knock Gerrard off their pedestal. This bakery is nearer than Gerard’s so that is a factor for my consideration.

I love Tiffany’s cakes, been buying them for well over 8years, for birthdays, christmas parties, anything we can think of… they are the best in my town, prices aren’t bad for the great classy job that they do on your cakes…

Of course they have cupcakes! Of course I tried one! I went back to Tiffany’s to order the baby shower cake and they had a small selection of cupcakes, so I bought one red velvet and one lemon. I am not a red velvet fan, so I gave it to MCG(She’s not a Unilocaler). She enjoyed the cupcake and the cream cheese frosting, but she wanted more of a chocolatey flavor. Hmm, she must not be a RV fan either. But the Lemon cupcake was really, really delish! The frosting was NOT sour cream, cream cheese, or buttercream; it seemed like a cooked and whipped little pile of lemony goodness! I love really good light whipped lemon frosting. And the cupCAKE(to die for) was really good light cake with excellent lemon flavor. I like to taste the cake first to make sure. BTW, the baby shower cake was very pretty and the crowd loved it! I will return to try their other selections. I am still a fan.

I can only review what I ate. I had a sweet tooth attack and had to get some sweets. I stopped at Tiffany’s and got a slice of yellow cake and two cookies. The cake was the best I’ve tasted in this area and the cookies were extremely tasty. If I throw an event soon I will be ordering my sweets from Tiffany’s. Has anyone ordered their pecan pie? I’d like to know how it tastes.
