I almost don’t want to divulge Clio’s best kept secret. This Goodwill is the bomb. Easily the best thrift store around, definitely a notch above any Vincent De Paul thrift store, that’s the truth. It’s not junky or dirty, it’s clean and the display areas are well kempt. Good deals, but the best time to hit it for the die hard thrifters like me is about 4 p.m. mid week, like Wed-Thur. Be prepared to sift through the racks and shelves, though it’s by no means a warehousing station for crappy castoffs that nobody wants anyway. I came back into town a few weeks ago and got a bunch of DVD’s, two shirts, some books, and artwork for the bargain basement price of $ 17. If you can wait til the monthly blowout sales, do that, because it works if you can swing it or don’t care about spending time waiting around in a long line with other expert thrifters and upcyclers.

A standard goodwill. Large amounts of clothing and knick knacks. The store usually seems busy when I’ve been there. The amount of traffic this store gets May account for my lack of memorable finds. There are a few dressing rooms with hooks and mirrors. The book selection seemed large but it was easy to overlook, it’s been a while but I think it was in it’s own room. Prices seemed reasonable with jeans and shirts for about $ 5 a piece except the 50% off color of the week and special Sunday deals.
