This restaurant is a gem! We stopped in for lunch after a day exploring the area and the food and service was excellent. We even went back for more the next day but we arrived at closing time. I consider myself a true foodie and I will go back even though it’s 2 hours from home.

Always good! Pick wisely from the sides though, the canned stuff definitely tastes it. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and the sweet potato casserole is to die for! Staff is always friendly and food comes out quick! Desserts are awesome!

Best fried chicken you will ever have!!! And if you ask anyone what their favorite side is they will more than likely say the tomatoe pie

Only open for breakfast Fri –Sun. Alright breakfast. About average. Was cooked well with good service. Coffee was good. Atmosphere average. Clean and well maintained. Had breakfast, 2 eggs cooked to order, grits done very well, hash browns average, sausage ok, bacon crisp, toast ok and buttered. Biscuit and gravy good, but gravy a little bland. Nothing to get too excited about.

This place gets an easy five out of five stars. Dunno where to start: Menu is very simple(meat and three); everything is scratch made; veggies are fresh and locally sourced when possible; restaurant is spotless; servers couldn’t be any sweeter; prices are very fair. They’re open Tuesday-Friday, breakfast till 8pm(and they close promptly at 8). Saturday & Sunday they’re open for breakfast till 2(?) Great folks serving great food. This is a really simple, homey, place. Not a date night place, but a great place to bring the family.
