Okay, so it was a couple months back when I went in for lunch. I can’t remember what I ordered but I do remember I really liked it. The décor was upscale Chinese Restaurant. The place was bright with natural light, clean, looked good and smelled yummy. The customers were enjoying their lunch. The next time I go back I will update this review sooner so I can remember what I ordered.

Been here so many times and have not left a review. Shame on me. We love the place, neighbors and I come like twice a month and I come on my own too. Just a heads up, if you order sushi ask for it to be a «special» also… you get two pot stickers and soup for $ 2.00 more! Well worth it. Don’t know what else to say except looking for Chinese or sushi this is your stop. Traveling well worth your stop.

Maybe it’s just bc it is Christmas Day and they are slow but they have been pretty pushy so far. Not like rude or anything but I had just sat down and my boyfriend went straight to the bathroom and hadn’t even look at the menu and they were immediately up on me asking if we were ready to order. Then they kept coming back to ask again in what seemed like 30 second intervals. Also rice is not included in your entrée apparently. Was not expecting that. I was really happy with the nigiri(yellowtail and salmon) that we ordered though.

We asked Siri for the nearest Chinese restaurant and were directed here. First impression was one of cleanliness and friendly staff. We ordered Pot Stickers(4 stars), Dragon Roll sushi(5 stars), Chow Mein(3 stars), Broccoli Beef(3 stars), and Kung Pao Chicken(3 stars). Everything was presented nicely, the portions were adequate, and we had a ton of left overs to take home. The overall experience was satisfactory which means we’ll go back.

Really yummy noodle soups. Unless you really like fire, go with mild spicy. I am a fan of some heat in my food, but the medium seafood noodle combo had me sweating.

Live in town. Love this place. Great people and great food. My favorite is the pink lady roll and the sweet and sour chicken

Sooooooooo very good, staff was very nice and I had the Kung pao special. Enough food to make you full as a tick. If you’re in the Cloverdale area stop by. It’s walking distance from the newly remodeled Best Western.

I asked for chicken in one dish and pork in another and am unsure of what I was servered. Both were the same. Probably turkey ;) Poor service, bad execution, and sub-par ingredients.

This place is wonderful. Elegant, air conditioned and nice staff. The food was amazing, full of flavor and freshness with good sized portions. We had the fresh rolls, Phở soup, Thai iced tea, and pumpkin curry. We will definitely go back next time we go to Lake Sonoma.

it was 100+ degrees when i stopped in to Tian Yuen… it was a breath of fresh air in the toasty town of cloverdale… this is the second time i’ve eaten here and the first was because my moto group heard that they had good curry! so i had some pot stickers which were very good but not great cuz they weren’t real hot in the middle… but the dipping sauce w some chili paste made it all better! i had some yellow chicken curry w rice which was good and spiced just right… but is the curry supposed to be grainy? i’m not sure but the texture seemed a little off-putting…i know that curry comes in a paste or dried powder so maybe it hadn’t been whisked to smoothness… but the vegetables and chicken tasted great amidst the curry sauce… i’ll come back because they have a varied asian menu which is unique in a small town like cloverdale!

When we heard people talking about delicious sushi in Cloverdale, it sounded intriguing. We wen and ordered the Spider Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Kerin Roll(with eel), Hamachi Roll and Philadelphia Roll … all excellent.(Be sure to request«light on sauce.») The Won Ton Soup was exceptional. Attentive service. Reasonable prices. Casual, happy clientele. I would definitely go back. Enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar.

Ok. Let me preface this review. I’m a foodie from OC. And thought while at the crocker inn for 2 days we would check out the local area for the«Old Town» main street and local restaurants in cloverdale. Wow 15 minutes I drove the main drag saw the high school, old hamburger joint now a Mexican restaurant. An Italian restaurant, la hacienda, the owl diner ?? Still open not sure? A few sporadic restaurants, star and subway, mickey d and kfc. So glad for this place. Is it the best chinese/Asian ever? NO of course we all know that. I have eaten at Brandy Ho’s downtown SF true hunan food! This place was really clean inside. They do sushi, Japanese, Chinese, & Thai. Frankly to me that is kind of funny. I know alot about the different Asian foods and when arriving tonight noticed a few specials. 1 caught my eye chicken chow mein and broccoli beef or sweet and sour chicken and a spring roll for $ 12.99. My girlfriend ordered orange chicken. Not excited about a dinner entrée for $ 8.99& –not include any steamed rice? Disappointed and $ 1.29 for small bowl. The orange sauce was not orange in fact more like sweet pineapple sauce yellow with bell peppers onion and pineapple. She loved it but I think it was sweet and sour chicken myself. Orange chicken is orange. Maybe their version of orange chicken. .they claim to be Asian fusion. My chow mein was very good basic thick noodles and nice chunks white meat and carrots and broccoli beef had nice tender chunks broccoli. Meat was good flavor a few pieces had some gristle. I liked it wasn’t heavily corn starch. This special could have included soup. My suggestion is to add rice to any entrée except chow mein. Also family dinners and bento boxes with sushi and non sushi combination can increase your business.

Really happy to have quality sushi here in Cloverdale! No need to travel all the way to Santa Rosa anymore for bomb sushi! Not only great sushi here, but the staff is very kind and enthusiastic to have you there and serve you. Great prices too! THUMBSUP!

Exactly the type of place I was looking for. Right off the freeway and easy access back on. The food was delicious I tried the pad thai, shrimp pocket type appetizers with Thai ice tea. I was satisfied with my food and would definitely go back there again to try out the sushi and other dishes. The service was lack luster. The restrooms are not within that exact restaurant but down a hallway that is shared with other businesses, kind of creepy. Everyone was friendly and the prices are a good deal for the amount of food.

An incredible sushi joint in Cloverdale? Pigs do fly. I really wanted to like this place since driving to and from Santa Rosa for good sushi is a bit annoying, but a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do. I loved Tian Yuen. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented and it threw a full on rave in your mouth. The sushi chef here knows what he is doing. Tian Yuen is a quaint little place with large Sapporo beers and a pretty cheap menu. You can’t go wrong. Every roll on their menu is a must have. There wasn’t a single dish I didn’t like. I’ll be back again and again!

Nice staff! Clean, quaint restaurant space! I do to go orders for the other girls I work with. Their food is always tasty and there is plenty of it! Great fresh sushi, delicious Chinese food! Their chow mein and 49er roll are amazing! It’s a regular lunch pick up for us!

I stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the service and food! I live in Orange County, and I can find great Asian food easily… but this is not the case in Cloverdale.(I don’t think Asians are allowed to live here, city ordinance or something.). I had a lunch special which was good but the chow mein was excellent! I also had sushi plus sampled my beautiful sig ot’s meal… all was very good. I will be back when I return to Cloverdale for a visit… but still not allowed to live there. April 2014 — Had lunch here two days in a row and the food and service is still great.
