Clovis Rodeo

Whooo Hooo, rednecks and tight jeans! Be aware that when the Rodeo is in town, the Ridge runners don’t know how traffic signals work and will cross Clovis avenue at any point and time!

So I know when you’re planning your wedding, you didn’t really envision having it at the rodeo grounds, but it could be. I had a 3 month engagement, in June (most popular month to get married), and I needed a reception site that could hold 300+ dancing, drunk Mexicans. I called around and found this place. There is a lot of parking, so what if it’s on dirt. It was plenty of room for the tables, food, and a large enough dance floor. My mom had been planning this day probably longer than I have, so she made the hall look beautiful. They have 2 rows of pillars, that easily separate the bride and grooms side. My mother wrapped them in tool and put lights on them. They had a kitchen, this was an essential part of the hall, because, like many other «Mexican» weddings, I had my grandma and aunt cook for the event. You can’t buy catering like that! The price is very good for all you get. I would definitely recommend this place, you wouldn’t think to have it here, but it can turn out very pretty.
