Empower Speech-Language Pathology PC

We absolutely love Empowered! My 3 year old has been seeing Jessica for several months, and I’ve been absolutely blown away at his progress. When we first brought him in, he was only using simple 2 word phrases and having terrible meltdowns resulting from the frustration of not being able to communicate with us. Just a few months later and he is using complex sentences and telling us how he feels and what he’s thinking about. Jessica and all of Empowered’s team are absolutely amazing!

My son has been working with Melissa for just a few months and he absolutely loves her. I love how Empower uses the Play Therapy approach unlike other Speech Therapies where they are more strict like ABA. Don’t get me wrong, some kids work great with the structured strict therapy but my son just turned 2 so the Play Therapy approach works for us! If your kids are receiving speech therapy I strongly recommend this facility. It’s great!!!

My son has been working with Natalia for over a year. He loves going to class. He actually asks to go. Natalia is a amazing person inside and out. I enjoy watching her interact with my son. And he has grown leaps and bounds working with her. Thank you Natalia!

My son started out in speech therapy with Valley Children’s Hospital who has a stunning facility and the most excellent medical care. What they lacked is, an effective speech therapy program– which we have found with Empower Speech. At Valley Children’s as with Clovis School District, my son would meet in a confined room, sit with a therapist and look at flashcards for half an hour once a week. It was and is completely ineffective. He went to therapy from age 3 to 5 and was NOT talking. Two years and my son had not progressed at all. Nice therapists, but completely benign.
When our insurance was switched to Kaiser, they sent us to Empower and my son began his journey with Natalia. To make a long story short, he has transformed into this wonderful lively boy who speaks his mind! Her therapies are completely effective and we are overwhelmed by our son’s progress in such a short amount of time. I think it is due to two things; Natalia’s dynamic personality and her skills bringing play therapy to our child instead of leading the child to a confined room with just a table and some flash cards. And it all makes perfect sense. Kids like to play and are visual and to help them communicate doing things they love is a smart move. Takes the anxiety for the child out of the equation.

First of all let me say how much I love Empower Speech! Natalia is absolutely amazing! My son started here in November with little to no speech and is now saying 3 – 4 sentences! She has done what many other speech therapists have not. She is so warm and caring and has a passion for helping children. I’m very grateful to have her on my son’s team. Her «office» is more like a play space. My son yells (as we pull up) «Ready to play! «. To Elias it is all fun and games but to me it is a building block for his future. I can honestly say without Natalia we would not have such a bright and expressive little boy. We are blessed to have Empower Speech! Ta Da!
