Really like their food your ears are great I usually do carry out but I have eating in there a few times and have enjoyed that too

Not bad when you’re hungry but this place has lots of room for improvement! For $ 8 the green chili cheese fries aren’t bad for waffle fries with queso but spoonfuls of green chili dropped on top in clumps was not what I expected. Maybe they could mix the green chili in with the queso? The sandwich was ok for a grilled cheese with BBQ meat but that coleslaw was yuck! Friendly service a little on the slow side but they do serve beer so there’s that.

I don’t understand the shitty reviews. Take what you can get people! This BBQ is pretty decent as compared to the one other BBQ joint in town. Let’s be real. Good service when I went on ⁶⁄₁₃. Brisket and pulled pork combo with a side of sweet potato fries and fried okra… Brisket was yum, pulled pork was fatty and dry, sweet potato fries weren’t fresh, fried okra was great. Still, this place beats the other BBQ joint in town. And I stand firmly on that.

Decided to order and pick up dinner We ordered the 3 meat combo with sausage, brisket and pork. Got home and saw the brisket was missing. I called the restaurant to ask about it and after being kept on hold for a long time she gets back on the line and says that it was included. I didn’t like that she was accusing me of lying. She didn’t give any explanation and asked if there was anything else I needed because they were busy. They apparently had a band playing. I can’t believe a worker could be so rude. My entire family and I will never go back again nor will our co-​workers and friends we will be talking to.

The décor is cool and we spent a lot of time taking it in. Mostly because our waitress spent more time at the counter talking to a co-​worker then checking on our food or the fact that our glasses went empty. I went up and asked for a tea refill.
The food was decent and brought to the table hot. The serving size is small though and my husband and son were not full when we left. The pulled pork was bland. My husband’s brisket was much better. The calf fries appitizer was also bland and came out at the same time as the meal.
It took a LONG time to get food — 45 minutes for 4 people. There was probably 8 other tables being occupied.

The actual barbecue is ³⁄₅ stars.
Unimpressed with service and sides so that’s –1 star: hence my ²⁄₅ rating.
The mac n’ cheese is LITERALLY Kraft. I laughed as our waitress brought it out, here’s how that went:
Me: Instead of one of these listed sides can I order the mac n’ cheese?
Her: It’s gonna be an additional $ 2
Me: (Oh it’s that ‘spensive cheese and noodle, bet it’s gonna be tasty!) Yeah, that’s cool, let’s do it!
*food arrives
Me: Is that Kraft dinner, for reals? (incredulous laugh)
Her: (not laughing) Yes.
Me: Okay that is the silliest thing I’ve ever heard, I’m gonna go ahead and switch that out for French fries. ($ 2 upcharge for Kraft mac as a side? The entire box of Kraft isn’t $ 2. They are out of their fuckin’ tree!)
Her: Sure fine (takes the Kraft dish, immediately returns with half a basket of cold, unsalted fries) here.
Me: No, actually that’s not going to work. We’d like a fresh basket of fries?
Her: Sure fine I’ll make you fresh fries but we are out of salt.
(How does a restaurant run out of salt?!)

The food is not bad. Service has always been good.
They are kids friendly. Has a nice atmosphere. Good place to have a cold one, enjoy some bbq and relax with friends.

The food is good and the servers are great. The two stars are because the restaurant was so cold even the servers were wearing coats. Three of the four servers were wearing coats and all but two of the customers in the restaurant were wearing their coats and some still had their hats on. I would guess the temperature in the room to be between 62 – 65. It was miserable. The servers stated they do not have a key to the thermostat so they could not do anything about the cold room.

The brisket here is really good! Probably the best place in clovis, NM but I do not think of BBQ when I think of NM. The sauce here is great as well. Worth a try!

Best BBQ in Clovis I always eat the fresh turkey salad! The staff if always friendly and smiling! I have tasted all the other BBQ they offer and I have to say it is great! This is a must stop and eat place when your in Clovis ! Now they also serve a beer that you can only get in Texas!!! Zingenbock ! If your a bud light kinda person it is a must! The only dark beer I have tasted that doesn’t have an aftertaste !
