Foxtail Gallery

This place is so gorgeous! I’m a huge fan of crystals and what not due to my involvement with paganism so this place is like a dream come true. However, this dream slowly starts to fade away once I see the prices :(I go to a lot of stores like this in a lot of different areas and this store is definitely the most expensive one i’ve come across.
Another negative would probably be how rarely I see them open. It is open and closed at very odd hours/​days.
But, if you can afford this stuff and are able to actually see it open for once then you’ll love it. Staff is super nice and helpful. They have a wide variety of items such as books, jewelry, tumbled stones, kits, candle holders, mini statues, you name it! The vibe in this store is very very nice too… clean and positive. Staff will answer any questions you have and they aren’t overbearing to their costumers like some local businesses. Going here makes me with I was a millionaire! I usually spend a long time in here because it’s always so hard to decide what to buy.
Overall it is a lovely place.

They have a wonderful collection of different types gems and stones! Everything is organized and have a set price to them for the quality of each stone. Great place to go to if you are seeking a gift for a friend who loves gems~ the owners are super friendly~ if you’re looking for anything specific they can help you! They accept cash and credit for Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for both Debit and Credit with a minimum of $ 10. I would highly recommend this place!

This weekend while visiting «Big Hat Days» in Clovis we ran into this Gallery. My youngest daughter absolutely loves rocks, so I had to take her into this establishment. While in there we saw so many cool rocks and gems. The Gems ranged from $ 3.50 to $ 17,200, so do yourself a favor and hold your kids hand; as i did (You Break, you buy) :P
One of the store attendees asked if we had any questions on the rocks/​gems, (which we did) and started to educate us on where they find these items and also how they form. I am fascinated by nature so i appreciated it. I think it was really cool that she did that for us. Most galleries would even acknowledge someone with two small children. I ended purchasing several inexpensive rocks and gems for the kiddos.
I normally purchase rocks/​gems for my baby when the fair is in town, but having this store in Clovis we will definitely be back.
The gallery does have a $ 10 minimum for credit cards but that’s not biggie.

This is one of the best «rock» stores I’ve ever been to. Happened to stumble across this place and so grateful I did. This place has such a good energy, great prices, and a variety of different crystals among other things. Coming from LA I found these prices to be much more reasonable then some I’ve come across there. I definitely splurged but walked out with raw amethyst and citrine key chains, a shark tooth charm, with a new favorite rock (Sulphur), Tigers eye owl figurines, and large pieces of raw rose quartz. Definitely check them out if you’re into that kind of thing.

Incredibly beautiful and huge variety of stones I have never seen before!

During the recent holiday season, my beloved aunt informed me that she was taking me to a shop in Clovis that was just up my alley, the only one of it’s type in the area.
And she wasn’t kidding.
The Foxtail Gallery is the type of place you’d expect to see in most any major city, a «mineral gallery» with a designer flair. If you’re a lover of the stone, you’ll love the Foxtail Gallery.
My aunt rhapsodizes over their dependably large stock of South American quartz specimens, amethyst «cathedrals» and petrified wood bookends. They stock lovely minerals from all over the world, and the prices start in the «reasonable» range.
That said, I hope that they’ll have a larger stock of local minerals and gemstones as the word gets out. This is the first dedicated store of this quality in Clovis, and they deserve a good look from anyone who’s looking for something lovely from the earth.
