Scottsmen Too

This place seemed nice in the beginning and the staff was friendly as well. But upon move out they totally screwed me over. I had to leave my lease only 2 months early because I got a job elsewhere and they charged 3 months of rent to leave early??? I work in property management so I know how this works. This was complete robbery. The funny thing was, we didn’t even conduct a unit inspection when I moved in I was just given keys. But upon moving out oh boy were they thorough. The lady whipped her hands on the walls and charged me for dusk??? WTF you cannot charge normal wear and tear like that. Pricks!!! Not only did I have to pay 3 months rent to leave but another $ 500 in cleaning charges and to be honest we left it cleaner than we received it. Anyone looking to rent in Fresno stay away from this blood sucking Private company there are way better option. There is always traffic noise and cars getting broken into… To hell with this place had I known Bette t the me I would have sued and won. They violated a bunch of tenant laws pertaining to move out costs but I was too young at the time to realize… Two middle fingers up to this place.

I will be moving out soon, and I’m really excited to get out of here. First off, some pros are the nice friendly staff, especially Victoria and all of the maintenance staff. Very close to old town and the farmers market, i love the small community vibe since I’m from a small town. Its pretty much quiet, except if your facing Bullard avenue (cars passing all day and night). My bf really has a hard time sleeping because he can’t handle the cars passing, the permanent light on our neighbors doors hovering into our room (even with curtains), and you can literally hear everything through these thin walls, and people walking down the hall. It wasn’t so much of a problem to me, but thats not it. These apartments are pretty much dated, with a huge mirror in the apartment. The poor old A/​C unit gave us problems, they came about 7 times until recently, finally, replacing it. Im so glad that with persistence, the maintenance and staff were accommodating. These are little nit pick problems, until last week, my car was stolen and found the following week cleared of all of my belongings and found in the ghetto of Fresno :(. Its just a inconvenience, especially that i had felt safe until now. I guess what I’m looking forward the most is to move into a more current&updated gated community rather than how Scotsman Too is set up. I do not feel safe, but i guess thats a personal problem too?. It’s beautiful but the police have been here alot. Seems they have a high turnover of staff.
