I wish I could give them no stars!!! We ordered out tonight (family deal) and everything but the sweet and sour chicken was okay. The sweet and sour chicken was obviously premade. It was cold and hard and looked as if it sat out for days. We called to tell them about this hoping to let them know how gross it was and to have it replaced. The girl whom we spoke to was rude and hung the phone up in my face. Tonight (2÷20÷16) @ 8:10 we vowed never again. Poor service and disgusting food. Really???

Japanese steakhouse.
The first thing I can say is that the grill room is quite chilly prior to cooking. Noodles I felt were subpar but the portions are humongous, that I do like. For what I spent i felt I received good bang for my buck. As you get alot of food.
They ask if you want rice… but they dont tell you its extra. That’s a no no, i was under the pretense, because you asked it was an available option at no additional cost. Keep the sour noodles give me the rice.
Otherwise the japanese taste was standard.

Wouldn’t be such a bad place, besides the fact the people/​workers here are LOUD as they walk back and forth, laughing and carrying on. But the strangest part is that they put an ASS LOAD of SUGAR on their rice and all food. WHO DOES THAT? Either cut down the soy sauce to make it better or something, but the cup (s) of sugar are definitely unnecessary!!!
You can ask for it without the sugar. I would definitely recommend it WITHOUT!

This place is a gem! My favorite restaurant here in Clovis. I can’t believe we waited so long to give it a try! They have a decent selection of sushi and excellent selection of hibachi. The ambience is great for date night or family dinner. Service was quick and courteous and the prices are fair. Portions are more than generous. The yum yum sauce is the bomb! My only grumble here is that they don’t have cowboy rolls! All I need is some sushi with a little steak in it and I’d eat here everyday!

I didn’t have huge expectations ordering sushi in the middle of New Mexico, in the small town of Clovis no less. Shogun Steak House met those expectations and nothing more. On the plus, Shogun’s has a cool interior with relatively private seating. Also, we experienced surprisingly fast service as well… perhaps it was because we ventured there on a Tuesday night, but I’ll take it. The sushi was average, heavy on the rice and cucumbers and light on the fish, but considering their geographic location I find that a smart move.
Shogun’s was good enough to scratch my itch for sushi but I’ll need to vacation elsewhere to fully satisfy the urge.

Shoguns has an amazing hibachi grill with a handful of entertaining chefs. If you sitting at the grill or sitting at a table you still get a well prepared meal. The sushi is good as well as the staff. Dinner or just hanging out! This place could be your spot.
