Looks goofy as can be but I don’t judge a book by its cover. The library has served my family since, well, since I’ve had a family. Very helpful and courteous employees that take time to get to know the patrons, GREAT section for kids, great meeting rooms available to the public. Two thumbs up.

This is my favorite library on the planet. Maybe because it’s in my home town. I moved away from Coal City when I was 15 and have never found a library quite like this one. It is a landmark in the community.
It’s a beautiful library. It has so many fun things for kids to do, especially during the summer. There are computers for people to use, printers to print things out if you don’t have a computer, lots of kids books and things for kids to do, rooms to hold meethings in — you name it, this library’s got it.
