This place is ridiculous. I call this morning at 9:30 to refill a prescription, I go to pick it up at 5:00 and it’s still not ready. I need a 90 script refill(of a very. Common medication), they only have 30 days so I need to come back AGAIN and wait in this slow drive thru line AGAIN tomorrow to get the rest of it. Did I mention it’s ridiculous?

Ive always been up front with my Drs about what I’m on medication wise. My dentist wanted to prescribe pain medication before this incident and I said no. I was already on pain meds. I was put on pain meds due to a neck injury. I told my obgyn too but he said with my cervix removed I may need the extra pain medication. My husband took the script and my discharge folder on 5⁄16 which included medication I was on prior to the surgery. I was in severe pain from having my cervix removed. I knew my Obgyn did not have hours on the weekend. Then the pharmacist stated she had to call my pain specialist. He does not have weekend hours, he knew i was having my cervix removed, I do not have an exclusive contract, and my pain specialist doesnt even understand why the pharmacist needed to involve him. She told me my insurance would not cover it. I called Monday and was told yes it was covered. I told the pharmacist I would pay cash and the pharmacist said she had to call both my Obgyn and pain specialist. Both Drs are baffled at the pharmacists reaction to filling a script that was written out by my Obgyn and that I had all paperwork from discharge after surgery. My care is and should be between my Drs and self. The pharmacist had no right to step in and micromanage my care. The pharmacist is not my Dr! I have reservations now to use any Docs in the future as I think that the pharmacist should fill prescriptions as stated. Why did my Dr fill it out if he didnt want me using it because of surgery??? I don’t have an exclusive contract. I know that there are addicts but I had surgery. Since when did pharmacists lose their compassion to patients and become in charge of their care? My Drs are not happy with Docs pharmacist either. The last thing the pharmacist said to me was she had to do her due diligence. Why even say that??? I’m NOT an addict.
