The only Missouri Synod presence in all of Madera County, Shepherd of the Sierra offers a traditional worship service on Sunday mornings at 10:15. Sunday School 9and Adult Bible Class) is at 9 am. The pastor is confessional, so you won’t find happy-​clappy here in terms of songs nor overhead screens.
The atmosphere is pretty casual — definitely come as you are, but that seems to be the way of the foothills.
