I think this place is called Zanello’s now but it’s the same phone number. My hunt for a good chicken cheese steak in the area took me to this small deli on the corner or rt 82 and rt 372 valley road. It’s a bit rundown inside and there is some seating, a take out place for most people I’d say. I ordered a chicken cheese steak and onion rings. Both were very good and fresh. I’m impressed so far, I’ll update after I try some other items.

If you’re all the way out in Chester County and the West End of Coatesville isn’t a hike you should make the trek out to Diluigi’s. What it lacks in appearance it makes up for with it’s cheese steaks. It’s got nothing on Max’s in Philly(but no one does). They used to sell alcohol but they sold their liquor license to the bar up the street from it.

I stopped here to grab a cheesesteak on a recommendation from a friend. He said«This place makes a killer cheesesteak. Oh my God!!! So good!» I figured since my friend is always looking for good subs and steaks, I decided to give it try. When I came in to order, I said to the lady«I hear you are known for your cheesesteaks. If that is true, I’ll take a large with onions and sauce.» She responded«I guess you heard right. Large you said?» As I waited for my order, I noticed boxes marked«Amoroso’s» in the grill area. Hmm… this is a very good sign. When it was all done and wrapped, I payed for my take-out. It was a little over ten dollars for the cheesesteak. That seemed kind of high. But then I saw the size. I was like«Wow!». The large could feed two people. The verdict? It was really good! I’m glad my friend told me about this spot. I will stop here again if I am in or passing by Coatesville!
