Stayed here again with family after xmas. I tried to look up rates thru my Best Western account and I could not find this hotel on their local list at all. Turns out this spot is no longer affiliated with Best Western. Its now just ‘the inn at Cobleskill” or something. It’s pretty much the same as previous years though, nothing special, but not awful either. Heat– AC worked as it should, bathroom was a decent size, water pressure good for the shower, pretty much clean as I could tell. Mini fridge is always a plus and especially when its a decent size. The pillows need work. They were mighty un-fluffed from what I recall and I had to sleep with all 3 crammed under my head to make one decent pillow. The pool area is nice but its surrounded directly by hotel rooms: i.e., the chlorine smell must be helllaaaaa strong in those one after so many years. No hot tub which really blows. They have ample enough space to put an ‘above ground’ one in and I think they would really do well with it. That’s one thing I look for when staying at hotels and usually I won’t book if they don’t. This was an exception for the last minute travel we did. Strip mall is a 500 yard walking distance down the hill and it has some fast food and a liquor store. Bingo. Would stay again if in the area, but if I find another spot with a hot tub, I’m choosing it over this location

Stayed here with another family for 1 night in between the holidays. Really, you can’t beat the price for a decent night’s sleep, indoor swimming pool, attached bowling alley and restaurant, and close enough to a grocery store to get some food for the room. The rooms were clean and plenty warm, even during the winter. I think if you’re travelling through Cobleskill and need a place to sleep for the night, the Best Western Inn(although I think it’s undergoing a franchise name change) is your best bet. Look for the top of the hill in Cobleskill behind the Price Chopper grocery store.
