I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place, and a few people have suggested it as a good place to get Crane’s stationary(and I have a slight addiction to Crane’s and stationary in general) so since I was already in Cockeysville today, I decided to check it out. It’s in a tiny corner of a random shopping center off York Road. So, I walk in and… it’s kind of a mess. I guess I was expecting something like T.J. Maxx/Home Goods, but looks-wise, this wasn’t even on par with a store like Ross or Marshall’s(and really, that’s not asking for much…). The prices were more expensive than Ross or Marshall’s, but maybe cheaper than T.J. Maxx/Home Goods. So, it’s hot as hell and stuff is just all over the place, but I figured I’d still look through a bit. I didn’t find any Crane’s stationary or any other stationary I really wanted to buy, but I did almost walk out with $ 800 worth of Madame Alexander since I spotted a ton of them and was suddenly completely overcome with nostalgia from having a bunch of these as a little girl. The prices were pretty amazing(between $ 25-$ 40 for dolls that can cost anywhere from $ 60 all the way up to $ 300+). I suppose at almost 23, I don’t really have any need for dolls though… Basically, this place had a ton of stuff and if I’d been in the mood, I might have searched through more, but I just didn’t have it in me. This would be a good place to go just to look and see what they’ve got, but I wouldn’t suggest coming here to look for something specific.
