Had the Cuban sandwich with black beans. Cuban sandwich was more like a ham n cheese on pretend Cuban bread. Beans had no seasoning. Not authentic at all. The waitress was nice. What ever cleaner they are using smells like a hospital. Had to hold my breath to eat. Sorry, I really wish it was a good review cause I love Cuban food.

When in Florida you expect to be blown away by the Cuban food so I was slightly underwhelmed. Ordered the pork chop with plantains and it’s was average. I know I know I should have went with the pork special but I love me some Cuban pork chop so I couldn’t help myself. Server was super nice and friendly. Sangria was above average. Maybe I just caught them on an off night since no one in the table exclaimed how good the food was hit again the demolished the plates so you know it wasn’t bad. Will definitely be back!

Great service, but I wanted my Cuban sandwich to be better!(It’s entirely possible I’m spoiled though)

Easter morning breakfast and it was packed! Able to get a booth but had to wait a bit(expected). Loved my black bean & cheddar omelet! Friendly service!

Tastes just like my abuela made it. We got croquetas(yummmmm) and the Cuban sampler of ropa vieja, picadillo and lechon. We were about to drive to Miami for Versailles, but I’m telling you my(fellow Cuban) people, ¡La comida de Roberto as la mejor!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast while in town for work. It did the job, decent food and good service. Great place for a quick breakfast on a weekday.

We went for dinner, the food was excellent. The service was great and quick. I loved the black bean soup. I had the Ropa Vieja de Pollo, with the yucca and the wonderful rice. My husband had the a steak. He was very happy! They do have beer on tap. We will be going back to try other items on the extensive menu.

Went here for breakfast and ordered Surfers Breakfast(2 eggs, black beans, and yellow rice) as well as the Famous Breakfast Sandwich. Everything was delicious. Great service as well! Will definitely be back, especially for the Surfers Breakfast.

Great food fantastic staff. Stop in and grab some true Cuban food without going through the cost of a flight to Havana. I went for lunch and my wait time for my food,(all fresh cooked) was less than 6 minutes. I don’t Unilocal very often but when I do it is for a good reason.

Authentic Cuban cuisine! I grew up on Cuban food and Roberto’s really hits the spot when in Cocoa Beach! We had bistec empanizado with white rice, black beans & maduros. La croquetta preparada with yucca con mojo, and mini papas rellenas. Delicious! Que Rico! Gracias!

Nom Nom NOm NOm NOM — -Mmmmmm. Gawwwwwd that was soooooo gooooooooood. Growing up with cuban neighbors/best friends you quickly learn the good from the bad cuban food. From what I had at Roberto’s you definitely get that authentic quality. I literally devoured the entire cuban sandwich(which is enough to feed 2 people easily IMO). The bread is homemade and it is as good as you can get for Cuban Bread. The Cuban Sandwich is definitely AUTHENTIC and delicious. I also got it paired with the black bean soup –Which is even better when you dip your sandwich in it – OH Yes! Go try it! Get a side order of the sweet plantains and cuban bread(which are like the salt and pepper of cuban food) haha. And after all that you will be 2 things: 1. Satisfied about your choices and 2. Miserable from eating all that food – but somehow still happy. The Plantains were excellent– NOT greasy but still had a great flavor/texture. And the Yucca is full of garlic and just smells-soooo good! It filled the car with an amazing smell on the way back to the Resort we were staying at. Finish it all off with a CUBAN coffee(not the café con leche(we didn’t try the«con leche»). I would definitely go back and try some more dishes if I am ever in this area for a day or 2. Recommended.

The food here was average. The service was great but the steak I ordered was very tough and the Cubano sandwich was ok. Portion sizes seem small and the flavors seems a little off. All in all we enjoyed our visit but there is definitely room for improvement.

This restaurant had a foul smell upon arriving. We asked the waitress and she told us the pipes weren’t working. Our party had to move tables. *The shrimp had a bad smell. *The chicken was dry/bland. *The Cuban house dishes weren’t authentic and didn’t have a great taste either. Overall I wouldn’t return nor recommend this restaurant to others.

Nice restaurant but definitely was not worth it. Staff was friendly but unfortunately food was very bland and no touch of personality which can be enjoyed at a «Cuban» restaurant. The tostones were perfection and that is the only thing going for them. Uncle ordered the ceviche and it smelled and tasted rotten. Dad ordered chicken and it was bland, not fresh at all. I ordered the tilapia and it had a nasty, murky, dirt taste. Overall not a good experience due to the smell of the restaurant, smell was due to plumbing issues but it was unacceptable. Would NOT recommend.

Great Cuban food. Mojo pork red snapper and more. Zoey is an awesome server and knowledgable of the best Cuban food in town.

Definitely a BIG disappointment! FOOD: Ordered a staple, the El Cubano… aka the Cuban sandwich. The ham was definitely processed and probably from a grocery store. The pork piece was non-existent and tasteless. I guess the bread was good. Overall, very unsatisfying and not worth the money. SERVICE: Was good, no complaints.

Barely passable as Cuban food. Given all the positive reviews and rating, we were looking forward to our dinner there. The food was flavorless save for the garlic mojo that bathed everything. We had chicharrone de pollo that I can describe only as boiled chicken nuggets that were then battered and bathed in the mojo. The vaca frita was burnt steak bits again flavorless save for the ever present garlic mojo. I do love garlic, but food should have its own flavor with a mojo intending to compliment. Even the Sangria was tart. The food actually made my mom sick after we left. The only plausible explanation for such a disconnect between the rating/reviews and actual food is that past reviewers have never had Cuban or at least good Cuban before. Sorry to report, but Roberto’s doesn’t make the grade and I suppose they don’t rely on repeat customers.
